I have been assessing the biography of (right-wing) David Irving’s ‘Hilter’s War’ book! He is a typical Bourgeois historian – but leans very sharply to the right (the danger is that his generally ‘good’ history is obviously pro-fascist). Similar to Jonathan Dimbleby’s book ‘Barbarossa’ – which leans alarmingly to the (politically more acceptable) Bourgeois centre-right (and the safe ground of Tory capitlism). Both are ‘rightists’ who deliberately pursue a disinformation of the USSR (whereas the former has been firmly rejected by the British Establishment that created him – the latter has been soundly lauded). The very real horrors of Hitler become the imagined horrors of Stalin!

The very real crimes of the Nazi German soldiers – brought up since nursery for over a decade to view the world through a racist lens – becomes the entirely fabricated ‘crimes’ of hardpressed Soviet Red Army soldiers (cultivated in the collective nurseries of ‘Internationalism’) who were dying in their tens of thousands everyday! Whereas Jonathan Dimbleby makes non-existent comparisons to prove his bias – Irving quotes obvious Nazi German anti-Soviet propaganda as if it were true – and states cold and objective facts (which confirms the impeccable behaviour of the Soviets) as if they were false!

Afterall, both of these Bourgeois Establishment manifestations are supportive of the predatory capitalist system and are opposed to working-class hegemony and ‘Socialism’! As I have stated elsewhere – a Bourgeois historian always presents one concrete fact bolstered either side by two (supportive) falsehoods! The Americans have mastered this process through agency of US anti-intellectualism (shot-through as it is with extreme religious ignorance)!
