Today, everything is stuck in capitalism. I could have entitled this missive (“My Easter Message”) – “Everything is Trapped in the Mire of Capitalism” – but thought better of it. After-all, I’m not the Pope, Patriarch, or Arch Bishop of Canterbury, and I am sure that I would rather listened to Celtic bagpipes – or the Mamas and Papas (the Folk equivalent of The Beatles). This probably because I was born During the “Summer of Love” during 1967! People often marvel that my hippy parents were at Woodstock! I personally detest capitalism – but only because of the unjust manner in which the bourgeois administer it. Obviously, possessing large amounts of money in a greed-orientated society bestows all the power that money possesses – equally – not possessing that money deprives each individual of the same amount of influence. But here is the primary issue – 10% to 20% of society live in their opulent bubbles (where everything is possible) – at the expense of the other 80% or 90% of the population that does all the work, earns all the profits, and has most of it extracted from their control by an unjust system. Capitalism is predatory and asymmetric in its distribution model and because of this, the resultant affect is that the masses suffer. Probably the shyster landlords are the greatest example of extracting large amounts of money for nothing – causing suffering and pain as they do so – fully supported by the judicial system their class founded to support that unfair system.
Marx and Engels irritate the bourgeoisie because they summed-up in writing just what capitalism “is” – and “what” it does. They also formulated a plan of attack for the working-class to follow – and described how a complete change of society might occur. Now, I am working-class – but I benefitted from a Socialist British system that assisted me educationally and lifted me personally out of the mire of working-class ignorance (which I still see all around me). This British Socialism (instilled by the 1948 Labour Party) has al but disappeared now in the UK – as our culture is forcibly transitioned to that of United States – which is basically England stripped of all its ancient culture and ancient control mechanisms. Poverty and ignorance (disempowerment) are the lot of the working-class yet again. Our elderly are dying from institutional neglect – and are ill and disabled are dying from medical neglect. Even though I can hold my own in the bourgeois education system – they know I am not bourgeois and lack the class-associations and wealth in-depth to do anything about the corruption they inflict on others. I am not a bourgeois team-player – which adds salt to the wound. Preventing people like me developing has been part of the middle-class agenda since 1979 (Universal Free Education was abolished in 1948).
The internet had to be spread (like a drug) throughout society so that the entire population could become addicted. The hook was originally the sharing of free information – but the internet was soon colonised by the capitalists and everything is now advertisements and pay-walls. It is clear who is in control. Entertainments that dulls the awareness and fake news presented as fact. The US uses a most prolific form of social engineering to control the English-speaking people of the world. Democracy is a sham – an excess code used to gain entry to your most inner opinions and behaviour patterns. You will obey – or be considered an Enemy of the State. There is nothing sacred and all is up for grabs. Right is left, left is right, up is down, down is up, the fringes become the centre – as nothing is sacred in the this deception designed to maintain the political, judicial, and cultural control of this asymmetric distribution of profi. The police and military are very much part of this – as working-class people who join these anti-worker establishments are rewarded with certain benefits and immunities that others (their victims) do not receive. They arrest and kill us for breaking a system of law inflicted upon us by a hostile class power. The bourgeoises (and its institutions) act as if it is the theistic god the Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christisnity, and Islam) purport to follow.
Here is the main issue. Marx makes it clear that Scientific Socialism can only emerge out of predatory capitalism, and even then only when such a capitalist system has reached the apex of its development. It can land men on the Moon – whilst incarcerating the highest proportion of its population (mostly Black). It can make the most advanced weapons (to mam and kill) – whilst allowing millions of its own citizens to die of medical neglect, homelessness, and starvation. The dice are definitely loaded in the favour of those who own the table. Black people used to be “”lynched” (White people joyfully photographed these events) – but today thousands of Black people are executed in the US. The former is termed “extra-judiciary” (no trial) – the latter “judiciary” (trial) – but the effect is exactly the same (the victim dies). Executions are now performed behind closed-doors due to the fear of the masses raiding the place of death and rescuing the condemned. I know all the arguments regarding “committing crime” – but these are highly selective. For instance, the US and Israel are jointly committing War Crimes and Crimes Against Humanity in Iran, Palestine, and Lebanon whilst the Western world looks on with indifference (if Trump had not interrupted the UK and EU attack on Russia – both these entities would be assisting in the unjust war on Iran). People are being brain-washed to care more about the well-being of a group of privileged astronausts – rather than the school children the US are murdering in Iran.
When we study philosophy today, we are no longer permitted to exercise the freedom of thought that the ancinet Indians, Chinese, or Greeks exercised. Christianity (Catholicism) was the first direct attack on logic and reason. Out of this developed “Protestantism” and the development of usury throughout civil society. Duty, sharing, and bartering was replaced with the use of cash-money to purchase goods and services previously acquired through the duty structures prevalent throughout feudal society. Even when logic and reason re-asserted itself, it was used by the capitalists to enforce and strengthen their modes of greedy control of society. The Renaissance, the Enlightenment, and the Industrial Revolution propelled the West into a position of immense material superiority (primarily through building ships and advanced weaponry) – the world had never seen the likes of this superiority. The merchants (burgers) built-up money and political influence, and eventually took political power (the means of production) from the aristocracy all over Europe. They then transferred this superiority to the Americas. They maintain power by stifling freedom of thought. We no longer the possess the lateral ability to “think” our way out of the greedy quagmire the bourgeoisie has dug for itself. Philosophy today is all about what people thought in the past – and not about exercising “free thought” in the present as this contains the threat of “seeing through” the capitalist system we inhabit – like a fish becoming aware of the water within which it swims. The ruling bourgeoisie, and the capitalist system it has created, is a priori presented to us as children as being an unquestionable thiesitic god. God, of course, cannot be “questined” – but only “worshipped”!
