Author’s Note: Opposing imperialism is one thing – understanding that its destructive forces are more or less inevitable is another. Marx and Engels often opposed the brutality of imperialism in action – but recognised that the after-effects are often progressive if not necessarily just. This is the paradox that capitalism presents us with. There is a time to oppose – and a time to come to terms with what has already happened. Capitalist ideology and policy destroyed feudalism, religionism, and primitivism – leading to the modern world. This is not an endorsement but a recognition of a fact. Socialism does not magically manifest in the world like a god-incarnate – but evolves out of predatory capitalism – the product of an intense working-class struggle. Indeed, Scientific Socialism cannot grow out of any reality other than that of capitalism. Scientific Socialism does grow-out of religion or a religious-base society. Quite often a religion takes on the prevailing manifestation of the society it inhabits – this explains the totalitarian nature of the Christian Church (and the monastery) which is premised upon a hierarchical feudal society administered by an absolute monarch. Zulu religion reflected the warrior culture that Shaka Zulu created (premised upon past tribal conventions with new innovations). Tribes in the Amazon possess religious beliefs that reflect the forest, etc. Religion is reactionary and can only orientate itself existentially – promising the adherent that some type of ethereal “escape” is possible (a claim that is never proven). It is fascinating that the religionists compound their illogicality by assuming that monotheism is an improvement upon polytheism. Really? At least if a tree is worshipped – the tree actually exists and is a material object existing in the physical world. Of course, religions can be studied and understood (as a type of history) – but such a researcher must not fall into the mire of religiosity. Such a researcher must not get high on his own supply – or get caught sipping his own bar supplies. What I find interesting about Iranian ideology is that it talks about opposing capitalism – whilst practicing capitalism within its society. Capitalism has not be over-thrown in Iran – only moulded to fit an Islamicist theism. Where, then, is the “Revolution”? It would seem that this refers to rejecting the Western imperialism projected into Iran (by the West) – and replacing it (or re-establishing) Islam (which is the right of the Iranian people). But consider this, Iran has a pre-history of thousands of years that was not Islamic – but polytheistic. Indeed, it was this astonishing culture that ruled a huge empire – the soldiers of which fought the Spartans at Thermopylae. Iran possessed a great culture prior to the rise of Islam – but this is denied or portrayed as an “error” by the theology extracted from the Holy Qur’an. How can this attitude be logical or true? Palestinians and Iranians celebrated when President Assad went into exile in Russia. Russian troops had fought and died to support the Secular Socialist regime of Assad – but Russia’s war in Ukraine sapped its man-power and material ability to effectively rage war on two-fronts. As I have written elsewhere – I believe Russia (and possibly Iran) were offered some type of deal behind the scenes by the US. Furthermore, the US-funded ISIS-Al-Qaeda (or whatever name this Islamo-fascist group is going by) was becoming so powerful – Assad’s days were numbered. Here is the point – Islamicist Jihadism (left or right) will not tolerate any form of Secular Socialism on the grounds that it relegates religion to a “private matter”. It makes no difference to the Jihadists (Iran is left-leaning Jihadism – ISIS is right-leaning) – because this movement occupies a psychological space very similar to that of Christianity during the Middle Ages. Even if a Secular Socialist State absolutely guarantees the right of every citizen to follow – or not follow – a religion, the Jihadists view this position as a movement toward secularism and away from the literal belief in religious theology (as if its inverted thinking is correct). Iran, for example, rejects Secular Socialism, and believes its left-leaning Islamic theology is superior to the ideology of Marxist-Leninism. Iranian Islamicism also reject Western (bourgeois) secularism as it has developed out of the Judeo-Christian dominance of society. Indeed, much of Western secularism is casually Judeo-Christian in manifestation. The “Judiciary” is the “legal system of Judaism’. “Justice” is the “righteousness of the Jews”. There is a 12-man during because of the “12 tribes of Israel” (manifest in the 12-disciples of Jesus) – the examples are endless. “Jewry” represents the “gem-wealth of the Jews”, and so on. Iran, as an Islamic Republic, rejects an absolute monarchy, rejects the capitalism of the bourgeoisie (Judeo-Christian derived), and strives to create a new type of Islamicist modernity premised upon Islamic theology.
It is curious to me to see (White) left-leaning British individuals, who have been born into (and brought-up within) a secular (Western) society – enjoying all the inherent freedoms that entails – and then align themselves with a narrow Islamicist theology that has absolutely no relevance to themselves or culture. The UK-funded Press TV is probably the best example of this apparent contradiction. This is linked to the National Socialist George Galloway and former Labour MP Chris Williamson – and regularly feature Dave Miller who was sacked from Bristol University for alleged anti-Sematic teaching (a UK Judge later cleared him of this allegation – confirming anti-Zionism is not anti-Semitism). In a laughable side-issue, Williamson, Galloways and others stood outside the US Embassy in London celebrating Trump’s victory – stating that a new era of peace and harmony was about to enter the world. Perhaps this goes to show how we cannot trust the judgement of such individuals. Recently, I watched a British-born, middle-class English accented Muslim woman lecturing us in English on Press TV – stating how “superior” Islamic morality is – and how Western (secular) society is morally deficient. Of course, she avoided completely the epidemic of Muslim Grooming Gangs in the UK who target young White girls for underage sex – on the ground “they are not Muslim”. Obviously, this must be the religionist morality this young lady is discussing. I was shocked to find out yesterday that an Afghanistan migrant – living in Cheam of all places – was recently sentenced to 22-years in prison for raping a local 14-year-old school-girl who used to frquent his THC Vapes shop (as did many other girls). On the newspaper article – he stated that “he saw himself as the victim” and that he “did not follow Western values”. Perhaps those who live in glass houses…
My Chinese women relatives have told me similar stories over the years of their experiences of mixing with Muslim women. When young children first start school – the Muslim mothers tends to congregate around a non-Muslim (often non-White) woman who understands what is going on and how to navigate the system. After-all, it is often confusing at the start. Things go well for about three-months (it is always the same pattern) – and then suddenly (as a group) – all the Muslim women turn their backs and stop talking and communicating with the non-Muslim woman. I asked one of these young women why this was and this is what she told me, “The Iman says that we must learn as much as possible from the infidel as quick as possible before there is a risk of moral pollution. This is when the association becomes haram.” Well, if that is their attitude the best policy for us “infidels” is to not talk to Muslims or assist them in anyway – for fear of spiritually polluting their pure morality. I was once told by a Muslim woman friend (yes – I have some) that a wristwatch was “haram” (forbidden) and she went and checked with her Malaysian Iman – who said watch was “halal” (permitted). Perhaps in 500-years time Islam will secularise and chill-out. Whatever the case, theology (theism) is a major stumbling block to the scientific evolution of humanity – and it is a very real threat to Secular Socialism. It is interesting that Communists can fight and die for religionists – only to be “rejected” by the very same religionists they are sacrificing themselves for. A Socialist not only opposes imperialism – but also the religionism that promotes pointless violence and repeats cycles of regression – and which prevents a genuine Revolution. Religions should not be allowed to spread their teachings through an aggressive violence that is disguised as “self-defence”.
