Office for National Statistics: After 40-Year+ Attack on NHS & Welfare State – UK Life-Expectancy Plummets to Under 61-Years Nationally & 51 Regionally! (29.4.2026)

Marx discusses how the life expectancy of the workers in 1850s UK was very low considering the extent of the wealth their collective labour earned for the nation. Through a slow process of left-wing agitation and union activity – this low level (I believe just “40” in some areas) slowly began to rise, culminating in the 1948 founding of the Welfare State and NHS. This trend of improvement and growth continued until Thatcher in the mid-1980s when she switched the NHS from an ethos of “care” to “cost” – with the idea that the entire entity be privatised and transitioned into an exploitative US-style system. This unfolded parallel to the dismantling and reducing of the Benefit System, Social Housing, and effective Social Services – not to mention Elderly Care. All three main UK political parties – the Tories, Labour, and LibDems – have pursued this agenda at the behest of the US since the collapse of the USSR in 1991. Indeed, out of all the richest and advanced (21) most developed countries in the West – the UK lies at “20” with the US at “21” when it comes to all-round life-expectancy. Undiagnosed and untreated illnesses, coupled with untreated or inadequately treated injuries and disabilities have led directly to early deaths (ailments that can be easily cured and/or controlled with proper treatment) – a trend that is increasing. In the capitalist West – people are dying of medical neglect surrounded by hospitals, by starvation surrounded by food, and exposure surrounded by housing, etc. It is a crime against humanity unfolding against the workers perpetuated by the bourgeoisie – who live longer due to their unhindered access to all the resources they control and gate-keep. Revolutions happen due to the need to forcibly re-distribute already existing ample levels of wealth and resources – as the bourgeoisie always refuses to share on a voluntary basis. This is the practice of basic class interests!

Things will not racially improve if China just pretends (or even actually becomes) “capitalist”. As I write, I know Chinese students are being illegally taken into custody and forcibly questioned by the US authorities regarding their association with the Communist Party. China complains here and there about this – but does very little on the practical level as trade is considered more important – and that boat must not be rocked under any circumstance. Karl Marx wrote some very good articles for the US newspapers regarding China and its socio-economic development in the face of a ruthless imperialist domination. All genuine progressives must retain a lucidity and fluidity of thought in all circumstance (exactly what Mao Zedong did – as he literally “thought” outside his own ethno-centric predicament) – as this is the dialectical way. We must not become trapped in the rather childish Judeo-Christian cul-de-sac of a “good vs bad” dichotomy. Just because someone – or some entity – does not like you observing, discussing, or thinking about a certain aspect (or set of aspects) – this should not necessarily mean that you should abide by this imposed limitation of thought. My father – Peter Wyles (Moses Waveman) – is currently in a pickle, but it is happening to millions of elderly across the UK as the incumbent Labour Party is busy privatising the NHS and the Elderly Care System. NHS staff and Social Services (SS) staff all collude with this deficient treatment so that it becomes “legal” to provide inadequate and abusive care to the nation’s elderly. Labour also orders the police to telephone (and intimidate) any family member who complains online about the terrible treatment that is happening to their elderly relatives. I know this because it has happened to some one I know. What a disgrace the UK has become. The NHS and SS workers should be on the side of the working class that pays their wages through collective taxation. Still, no matter what happens – we will fight to the end!

Today, such people are “preserved” as a “right” – as their presence helps us understand our own human history (the Celts – my ethnicity – used to strip naked, get drunk, and cover themselves in shit before a battle). But I digress. In the bedroom our two daughters are occupying – the above legal document has been “framed” and hung on the wall for all to see and admire. Indeed, until, this morning, none of us had actually noticed it. In 2026, this second-floor building (“71a” is beneath us) is termed “Rock Hopper” – and this is the name used in all the advertising literature. The back yard is a narrow strip of land – but I suspect that “71” and “71a” were originally one and the same dwelling. The steep rock-face at the end of the garden turns-out to be the edges of an old quarry – whatever that was used for – probably prior to these houses being built on a steep and narrow hill (incline).

No Religion Can Prevent Physical Death!

UK: Opposing the Spread of Religion Through a “Violence” Disguised as “Self-Defence”! (24.3.26)

Quite often a religion takes on the prevailing manifestation of the society it inhabits – this explains the totalitarian nature of the Christian Church (and the monastery) which is premised upon a hierarchical feudal society administered by an absolute monarch. Zulu religion reflected the warrior culture that Shaka Zulu created (premised upon past tribal conventions with new innovations). Tribes in the Amazon possess religious beliefs that reflect the forest, etc. Religion is reactionary and can only orientate itself existentially – promising the adherent that some type of ethereal “escape” is possible (a claim that is never proven). It is fascinating that the religionists compound their illogicality by assuming that monotheism is an improvement upon polytheism. Really? At least if a tree is worshipped – the tree actually exists and is a material object existing in the physical world. Of course, religions can be studied and understood (as a type of history) – but such a researcher must not fall into the mire of religiosity. Such a researcher must not get high on his own supply – or get caught sipping his own bar supplies. What I find interesting about Iranian ideology is that it talks about opposing capitalism – whilst practicing capitalism within its society. Capitalism has not be over-thrown in Iran – only moulded to fit an Islamicist theism. Where, then, is the “Revolution”? It would seem that this refers to rejecting the Western imperialism projected into Iran (by the West) – and replacing it (or re-establishing) Islam (which is the right of the Iranian people). But consider this, Iran has a pre-history of thousands of years that was not Islamic – but polytheistic. Indeed, it was this astonishing culture that ruled a huge empire – the soldiers of which fought the Spartans at Thermopylae. Iran possessed a great culture prior to the rise of Islam – but this is denied or portrayed as an “error” by the theology extracted from the Holy Qur’an. How can this attitude be logical or true?

We will not allow nations to silence us when, for them, human rights are nothing but a bargaining chip and a foreign policy weapon. We have no intention of listening to people who use human rights as a tool of war — while their own hands are stained with the blood of Palestinians and Iranians, something they somehow keep conveniently forgetting.

And we will not rest until every country here is treated by the same standard. Until hypocrisy is dragged into the light and disgraced. Until genocide is confronted. And until peace reigns not just in words, but in reality.
