Author’s Note: Danny Lemoi was very popular when he was alive – but he is not so popular now that he is dead. Why was he so poopular? Well, his positional energy was “freeing” (that is “Revolutionary”) – whilst his viewpoints were wrong (the “Rovolution” he advocated defied science, modernity, and societal progression). His stance was rebellious – whilst his understanding was flawed. Of course, none of this mattered whilst he was alive, as his defiance of one aspect of the status quo (whilst supporting Trump, every type of reaction, and all kinds race-hate and misinformation) was cheered-on by the disaffected, the abandoned, and the desperate. It was the “dying” that uprooted the ridiculous enthusiasm his persona attracted – as this single act called into question every single claim he ever made! Death has a certain finality to it. Danny Lemoi died of the very disease that medical science diagnosed – and he claimed to have cured with a simple “de-worming” medicine used primarily for treating animals. Apparently, all his ideas were the product of pure imagination, whilst the “Ivermectin” he was taking had zero effect on his illness. He deluded himself by denying the reality of his physical ailment. His misplaced will-power had no curative effect upon his illness. This is exactly like the delusion inherent within religious belief which suggests that merely “thinking” about something – materially changes a physical condition. During the 14th century Peasants’ Revolt in England, certain members of the Church joined the peasants and fought for the ordinary people to take control of the society from the aristocracy – and destroy all of its oppressive institutions (including a State-controlled religion). King Henry VIII – during his Act of Supremacy enacted in 1534 – stripped the Vatican of its religious authority and placed that power solely within his own hands (surely a dialectical, Revolutionary act). The Lord Protector (Oliver Cromwell) when he ruled England during the 1650s – separated Church from State. The irony is that the 1776 so-called “Revolution” was perpetuated by Founding Fathers who were definitely liberal-left and wanted to separate Church from State – an ideal also perpetuated by the initiators of the 1789 French Revolution, the 1871 Paris Commune, and the 1917 Russian Revolution (Ho Chi Minh was a great admirer of the US Constitution). This ideal did not originate within the American Colonies during the 18th century – but was the result of a long history of necessary conflict and progressive political evolution. I include the American Civil War (1861-1865) in this analysis, but would suggest that it was the Confederacy that was progressive and the Union that was reactionary (the surface interpretation of history is a product of US anti-intellectualism – and presents history the wrong way around).
It is important to acknowledge the agency of US anti-intellectualism. I would say that this ability to view things the wrong way around has been the US government’s vehicle of choice to mislead and brainwash its citizens during the 19th and 20th centuries as a means to steer its population away from Socialism and toward predatory capitalism. Although US society is supposed to separate Church from State – the reality is that the inverted perspective of religious ignorance controls all thought processes. Socialism is equated with the “devil” (and must be avoided and rejected at all costs) – whilst predatory capitalism is viewed as being “god-like” (a reality that must be embraced at all times without break or hindrance). Being exploited for monetary profit in the US is now interpreted as being “god’s will” and inevitable as an ongoing process. Although Socialism is the only alternative to predatory capitalism – it can never be realised in the minds and bodies of US citizens, and so the only choice the average American possesses – is which aspect of being exploited they will allow in their lives. A league of preferred exploitation is developed – justified by a reliance upon the political far-right. The ignorance and aggression of the far-right ensure that no progressive wisdom can develop and emerge spontaneously in the minds of those trapped in its net of influence.
Socialism is ignored – capitalism is embraced. Although science is correct, the average US citizen cannot afford to penetrate the pay-wall that separates a humanity in need – from humanity that possesses the knowledge and skill to put right the many ailments and diseases that torment the human mind and body. No money equals no treatment. Millions of Americans live with acute and chronic pain every day of their lives – blaming themselves for having no money or not being able to afford the relevant treatment. Americans die of starvation surrounded by food, Americans die of exposure surrounded by clothing and housing, Americans die of ignorance surrounded by educational institutes, and Americans die of medical neglect surrounded by hospitals and medical clinics. Although the US is a very rich country and possesses every single element needed for a continued and sustained good-life – perhaps two-thirds of the US population is excluded from this wealth through poverty. This poverty is a product of the inherent injustice and inequality inherent within the US capitalist system. One-third of the US population leads a parasitic (privileged) existence – living-off the labour and surplus profit earned by the other (impoverished) two-thirds.
Danny Lemoi rejected the medical knowledge contained within the scientific community because he believed in far-right conspiracy theories (anyone who opposed his misunderstanding – he declared to be a “Communist”). Instead, he made the ludicrous assertion that a veterinary drug known as “Ivermectin” (used for treating parasites in animals) – was a cure-all for every human ailment! He even advised that children suffering from Autism could be cured by taking this drug! He was not misled by any fake news from a country outside of the US. Danny Lemoi could not read, write or speak Russian, Indian, or Chinese. He had no access to any other academic input. The ignorance of Danny Lemoi is a product of the US system and does not originate outside of it. A number of articles falsely assert that Danny Lemoi was misled by a sinister outside “force” – usually Russian, Indian, or Chinese, etc, all the usual suspects who currently happen to be highly racialised by the far-right, and current US foreign policy. On March 7th, 2023, Danny Lemoi was busy posting his usual nonsense about how he had abandoned medical science and switched instead to “Ivermectin” – a few hours later he was dead. He had died of the very illness he claimed had been cured by an anti-parasitic drug designed for farm animals. We know this because his self-reverential Telegram channel entitled “Dirt Road Discussion” is free for all to access.
It is a disturbing mix of far-right racism, hatred, discrimination, prejudice, and out and out utter stupidity. The channel is pro-Trump and as disturbing as any other White Supremacy channel. It is laced with the most disgusting and degenerate statements that are sexist, derogatory, and thoroughly inhuman. And yet such content as this attracts thousands of English-speaking people every single day. This is the product of the success of pursuing an anti-Socialist policy thar turns human consciousness back onto itself so that a cesspit of a reality is constructed through a lack of contextual flow. Like faeces – these people congregate around filth and hate – and yet they think they are “wise” – when the are any thing but clever or understanding! The ignorance is so hate-filled that it often feels that an oppositional violence is the only way to counter the very real physical and psychological threat these people represent. Of course, “violence” of thought-process is exactly what these people trade on. Danny Lemoi effectively killed himself by believing the US far-right, by believing in US anti-intellectualism, and by believing the Neo-Nazi ignorance that the Trump movement represents. These people need arresting, trying, and imprisoning. Do not go down the path of inverted thinking. Laughably, Danny Lemoi died due to his own (American) ignorance – an ignorance which tens of thousands followed and are still following! Do not give-in to this hideous form of self-defeating ignorance!
