Once the ‘Darling of the West’ – Aung San Suu Kyi has proven to be something of a disappointment! She received every accolade, reward and honour! Her cause was ‘Christ-like’ as she was paraded around the West as being the nearest to a ‘European’ the average Westerner could encounter outside of Europe! And yet Aung San Suu Kyi refused to play the Western game of bouncing one fabricated image of ‘good’ Muslims against equally fabricated image of ‘bad’ Muslims – and then she was caught out by her own people attempting to sell her country of Myanmar to the US (and the Western Europeans) to become a cross between a pleasure beach for these ‘foreign’ people – and a launch pad into Asia for NATO and European military aggression against China, her allies and interests throughout Asia! Even the Buddhism she devoutly follows was presented by ‘Time’ Magazine as being a haven of terrorism!
Let this be a lesson to the International Working Class (and our Western allies), but let it also be a greater lesson to all non-White people who erroneously believe that by following the continuous dictates of the capitalist system, and by ‘taking the King’s Shilling’ (as the British quaintly say), a just change will occur in the world that is fair, just and genuinely empowering of the poorest and weakest people!
