The Disappearance of Ramalinga (ராமலிங்க) Swamigal! (20.4.2023)

My PhD is in ‘Spiritual Metaphysics’ – which suggests I study all phenomena relating to religion and the human experience of spirituality. To this end, I treated every experience with an objective impartiality – neither ‘agreeing’ nor ‘disagreeing’. Of course, I possess a personal opinion – the my personal opinions are a product of my freedom of thought and have no bearing upon what might – or might not – be happening. As I do not trust the slap-dash and haphazard manner in which US anti-intellectualism manipulates historical data on the US govermentally controlled ‘Wikipedia’ – I have accessed ‘Tamil’ language sources – and spoken to Tamil historians about the situation regarding Ramalinga Swamigal (1823-1874). He was borm ‘Thiruvarut Prakasa Vallalar’ (திருவருட் பிரகாச வள்ளலார்) in a village situated in the Madras area of British-controlled India. Like the Buddha, this man was a Hindu who cultivated a ‘reforming’ attitude. This Siddha was known as ‘Ramalinga Adigal’ (ராமலிங்க அடிகளார்) and more commonly as ‘Vallalar’ (வள்ளலார்) – which is written today as ‘Vadalur’ (வடலூர்) – or the place where he was born (situated in the Cuddalore District, Tamil Nadu).

Falun Gong Cult

Falun Gong Cult: Dial 0800 ‘DISTANCE’!

In an attempt to inject some humour into Falun Gong Cult activities (which, let’s face it, often look more like Nazi-Occupied parts of Europe during the early 1940s – rather than populations of the ‘joyfully liberated’) – this new generation of channelers are trained to open-up proceedings with a witty exchange (or ‘repartee’) to warm-up the crowd – one which often unfolds something like this:

Question: ‘Li Hongzhi – are you there?’

Answer: ‘Yes!’

Follow-up Question: ‘Are you alive?’

Follow-up Answer – and Delivery of Punchline: ‘Yes – are you?’

Of course, experiments in ‘humour’ of this nature could prove highly successful – or be the equivalent of pouring arsenic in the soup as a means to improve its flavour! Will it work? Will it fail? Does it matter? With the US government bankrolling Li Hongzhi’s every move (or ‘non-movement’ in this case) how can it fail? Li Hongzhi does not have to ‘prove’ anything – he merely needs to appear to always be there (never ageing) – and like a lighthouse perched on a lonely rock somewhere – always broadcasting the same ‘bright-light’ of his anti-China message!

Time: How To Tell Your Friends from the Japs! (9.2.2023)

Today, the equivalent would be ‘How to Tell Your (Japanese) Friends from the ‘Chinks’!’ Racism, however, tends to adapt to the times and although Article 9 of the post-1945 Constitution of Japan states that ‘The Japanese People Renounce War Forever’ – a succession of US and Japanese governments have been sword rattling – particularly in opposition to what is perceived as China’s unwarranted economic and military expansion! China is growing through Socialism – whilst post-war Japan grew from being given billions of dollars of US aid! Any country given what amounts to ‘free money’ will economically develop if the right discipline is present. No one helped China and as a country she has risen out of the depths of despair upon her own and there is nothing to be ashamed about when the Communist Party of China is given the credit for what it has achieved!

Donald Yacovone: Harvard Scholar ‘Confirms’ Racist Nature of US Academia! (9.10.2022)

The overwhelming majority of the history textbooks “treated the introduction of African Americans in American society as a ‘problem,'” Yacovone was quoted by the magazine as saying.

“The further you go into the 20th century, this almost Evangelical theme of ‘the problem of a Negro’ and how much he needed to be controlled because he was so inept and ignorant became the guiding theme of American history textbooks,” Yacovone added.

China: History Classic (Shujing) and the Concept of ‘Time’! (22.9.2022)

Seldom does the West Treat non-Westerners with respect. Since 1945 and the rise of US dominance, this anti-intellectual approach has become far more prevalent, powerful and normalised! Racism is an ever threatening ogre lurking in the darkness – but in this short extract (in 1971) – Clae Williams ‘revitalises’ the ground breaking translation work of James Legge, who began the translation of the Chinese ‘Five Classic’ texts in the mid to late 1800s! Although both cultures (the West and East) are still learning about one another, Legge was able to ‘see beyond’ his own socio-economic and cultural conditioning, and ‘see into’ or profoundly ‘glimpse’ how the ancient Chinese people developed a distinct cultural view of the world! The following extract is an ‘Introduction’ written by the American ‘Clae Williams’ in 1969, his modernisation of the work of James Legge, with much of its content deriving from the ample notes left behind in the James Legge Library. The ‘Shujing’ (書經) or ‘Document Classic’ is often referred to in China as the ‘Book of History’ as the ‘Documents’ concerned are ‘Historical’ in nature recording Chinese history from around 2205 – 771 BCE. It is an interesting attempt by non-Chinese people to contextualise the Chinese cultural perception of the world!

Plotinus: The Concept of ‘Time’ Reconsidered! (21.9.2022)

The Christians then further added to this confusion (entirely of their own making) by superimposing the Germanic term ‘Soul’ over their misinterpretation of the Greek philosophical term ‘Psyche’! Plotinus (and most genuine Greek philosophers) never used or even knew of the Christian conflation of ‘Psyche-Soul’. Certainly, Plotinus NEVER used the Christian term ‘Soul’, but he did continuously use the Greek philosophical term ‘Psyche’, which refers to the ‘breath of life’, ‘the animating principle of existence’ – or that ‘spark’ which sets in motion all the conditions that grant psychological (thought) and physical (existence)! Plato’s 4th Century BCE text entitled ‘Definitions’ a manual of philosophical terms (translated by DS Hutchinson, 1996) used within his ‘Academy’ School of Philosophical Study – defines the Greek term ‘Psyche’ to mean the following:

a) That which moves itself.

b) The cause of vital processes in living creatures.

I would argue that the Greek term ‘Psyche’ implies so much more than the narrow Christian term ‘Soul’, and even if there are elements of the Greek ‘Psyche’ which overlap with the Christian ‘Soul’ – this in no way validates (or accepts) the Christian doctrine of being true anymore than it invalidates the Greek philosophical message!
