BMA-UK: Qumran: How Meditating Jews Borrowed from Buddhism to Build Christian Monasticism! (12.4.2026)

The Jewish community in Qumran chose to sit in meditation cells to seek a communion with their god. Why did some Jews do this? This is not a Jewish tradition and is certainly not recognised as a Jewish practice – even in a peripheral sense. Meditating in a cave must have come into Judaism from an alien teaching and different culture. Two prime candidates are Buddhism and Hinduism – with the edge leaning toward Buddhism (due to the lack of polytheism). Not only this, but Buddhism was flourishing in India during the 3rd century BCE and the 1st century CE – the time era attributed to the Qumran texts (the Dead Sea Scrolls). Christian monasticism (as practiced by the Celtic Church) must have originated in Buddhist India – and was adopted by a small group of Jews in the Qumran area of the Judean Desert (situated on the North-western shore of the Dead Sea). This meditational practice was continued by the early Jewish followers of Jesus Christ and was spread to the Egyptian Desert – where the first (distinct) Christian monastic communities were first formed.

In my veins I feel the truth of what Joseph Stalin has to say – because what he has to say is absolutely correct. In this regard, Nicolae Ceausescu (and his partner) are working-class heroes murdered by the bourgeoisie (as is Saddam Hussein). It is ironic that whilst the bourgeoise is always trying to delude the masses through the perpetuation of the fog of theist religion – it is always using Christmas-time to carry-out its most brutal executions – even televising such hideous spectacles as a form of “warning” entertainment. Suddenly, the Dalai Lama’s 169 mentions in the Epstein Files fall into place. At one time, the West attempted to infiltrate Moscow high society with secret agents willing to practice homosexuality in the USSR. The NKVD traced this from Washington to Tel Aviv – and reported it to Stalin – who ordered the agents destroyed – and quite right in my opinion. From what I gather, these “male” agents were heterosexuals carrying-out a “trained role” for their country. The idea was to plant the foundation of bourgeois individualism in the USSR using sexual decadence as a vehicle. Indeed, post-1991 saw all kinds of sexual deviance imported into the post-Soviet space, including religion and far-right ideology. All this is “Trotskyite”. Revealing its treachery is not homophobia – but pro-worker (many of the early Bolsheviks were known to be “gay” – but not decadent – and there is the difference). The point is that deficient ideology is not correct ideology – and this applies to false derivatives claiming to be “Marxist”.

Despite Epstein’s initial conviction for sex crimes in 2008, some scientists continued to associate with him and accept his funding. For instance, Epstein donated 800,000 U.S. dollars to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), a move that eventually led to the resignation of two scientists and the suspension of another.

While mentions of the researchers in the files do not necessarily indicate wrongdoing or involvement in Epstein’s criminal activity, the details shed light on how deeply he was involved in the scientific fields he funded, said Nature.

The latest batch of files disclosed new details regarding interactions between Epstein and the scientists. Lawrence Krauss, a theoretical physicist whose science-outreach organization received 250,000 U.S. dollars from Epstein, was advised by the financier via email to offer “no comment” as Krauss responded to media inquiries about an investigation of sexual misconduct that led to Krauss’s ousting from Arizona State University in Tempe.

I would argue that non-White cultures (not crushed by Eurocentric imperialism) possess a scale of sexual and gender manifestation that is far more fluid than that found in th West. Much more is tolerated with far less reactionary resistsnce. Married Chinese men can be effeminate – just as married Chinese women can be masculine – it is not that big a deal in the everyday world of Chinese existence. Teenagers naturally discover their sexuality and identity without the interference of the State define this or punishing that – so what exactly was Qiu Miaolin rebelling against? Was it the Nationalist domination of Taiwan? Was it the fascist (patriarchal) reality of Kuomintang (KMT) reality? Was it the obvious US domination of her Chinese culture? Was it the left-over influence of the Imperial Japanese presence on the island? I note that in the Chinese-language assessments of Qiu Miaolin – the “gay” Japanese fascist – Yukio Mishima is mentioned. After WWII, Mishima propagated a male gay cult that practiced homo-erotic martial arts whilst dreaming of over-throwing the US-dominated government and returning Japan to its feudal greatness (he would lead a failed military uprising in the early 1970s – before committing ritual suicide). Mishima, of course, was an anti-China racist – so why admire him? I am not a woman and am not a lesbian – so I advise the reader to research freely and to think for themselves.

The use of military means by the armed forces of the Russian Federation is an expression of its absolute will not to tolerate threats to its national sovereignty and a just exercise of the right for defending its legitimate rights and interests.

Consistent and invariable is the DPRK’s stand to fully support the just cause of the Russian Federation for defending the national sovereignty, territorial integrity, security and interests.

The international community should heighten vigilance over the West’s sinister attempt to turn black and white, distort the facts and change the victim and perpetrator, and should make responsible efforts to defend genuine international justice, peace and stability.

Indeed, the voluntary and determined presence of Indians in the Confederate Infantry defied all Northern attempts to paint the South as culturally backward. The North had never succeeded in convincing the Indians to be happy about their own genocide – but here was the Confederate South treating the Indians as fellow “human-beings” – and making way for their warriors to serve alongside White Men in the frontlines. On the official front, the Confederacy formed a specific Indian Regiment led by General Albert Pike. During the Civil War, he commanded the Confederacy’s Indian Territory, and raised troops in this area – and exercised Field Command in at least one battle (although Watson mentions his name – and Indian troops – a number of times). After the South lost the Civil War – the North simply carried-on its pre-war policy of genocide – depicting the Indians as “savages” and wiping their pro-Confederate struggle from the history books.
