MOSCOW, 19 April, 2022 /TASS/. The exhibition “Ordinary Nazism” opened on Tuesday at the Museum of Victory. It presents more than 200 exhibits that tell the history of the emergence and development of the Ukrainian version of this ‘Nazism’, a TASS correspondent reports.
“The purpose of this exhibition is to show that there is an inextricable link between what happened during the Great Patriotic War in Ukraine (1941-1945) – the extensive use of terror, the reprisals of the Nazis and their accomplices – Ukrainian collaborators punishing the civilian population – and many other similar paradigms and narratives we see today. There is a direct continuation of German Nazism throughout contemporary Ukraine that follows the same patterns, the same formulas, the same rules and same techniques,”
Stated Svetlana Klevtsovskaya – Head of the museum’s Methodological Sector, talking to TASS at a public presentation of the exhibition.
She added that now – the Nazi ideology has begun to be presented differently. Now it penetrates society, in particular, with the help of the media. “No matter how wild and scary it may sound, today we are talking about Nazism not as a dysfunctional and disastrous element of necessarily defeated history, but rather as a version or interpretation of ‘normalised’ modernity!” Klevtsovskaya said.
The items presented in the exposition are connected not only with the period of the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945), but also with the events happening within Ukraine between 2014-2022! Acquaintance with the exposition begins with genuine exhibits from the late 1930s – early 1940s from Nazi Germany. They are accompanied by archival documents and photographs. Among them are rare documents – criminal cases that, after the war, were brought against criminals responsible for atrocities against humanity on the territory of the Ukrainian SSR.
A separate section titled “Nazism Today” shows dozens of examples (i.e., ‘evidence’) of the existence of pro-Nazi sentiment in Ukraine. Among these are books, uniforms, propaganda paraphernalia of Ukrainian nationalists, as well as items with Nazi symbols, etc. Material evidence is supplemented by photographs and memories of eyewitnesses of the crimes committed by supporters of this ideology against the civilian population of Ukraine. In the centre of the exposition is an installation dedicated to the dead children of Donbass.
Part of the cost of securing and transporting materials for the exhibition was taken from the funds of the Museum, but it also included exhibits provided by the Donetsk Republican Museum of Local Lore, the Russian State Archive of Socio-Political History and others. In the exhibition space there is a poster with a QR code, which you can click on and get acquainted with the special TASS project “Process”. This explains how the trial of the Nazis took place within the framework of the International Military Tribunal in Nuremberg.
The exhibition project is intended for visitors over 18 years of age. The exhibition will be on display until July 17, 2022.
The opening of the exposition coincided with the start of the first All-Russian School Historical Forum entitled “Strength is in Truth!” – which is also taking place in the Victory Museum, but which is suitable in content for schoolchildren to take part-in from all over the country!
“An exhibition has opened at the Victory Museum, which presents concrete evidence that Nazism, unfortunately, flourished in Ukraine. And presents Ukrainian (and Western) textbooks that falsely teach your peers that Russia is an aggressor – that we are not fraternal peoples,” – said the Head of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov, addressing the forum participants.
The All-Russian School Historical Forum “Strength – in Truth!” Is dedicated to the Day of United Actions in memory of the victims of crimes against the Soviet people committed by the Nazis and their accomplices during the Great Patriotic War!

В Музее Победы открылась выставка об истории украинского нацизма Об этом сообщает “Рамблер”.
МОСКВА, 19 апреля. /ТАСС/. Выставка “Обыкновенный нацизм” открылась во вторник в Музее Победы. На ней представлены более 200 экспонатов, повествующих об истории возникновения и развития украинского варианта этой идеологии, передает корреспондент ТАСС Об этом сообщает “Рамблер”
“Задача этой выставки – показать, что существует неразрывная связь между тем, что происходило во время Великой Отечественной войны на Украине, – террор, расправы нацистов и их пособников – украинских коллаборационистов над мирным населением, – и тем, что мы видим сейчас. Это и связь, и следование, те же шаблоны, те же формулы, те же правила и приемы”, – рассказала ТАСС заведующая методическим сектором музея Светлана Клевцовская на презентации выставки.
Она добавила, что сейчас нацистская идеология стала преподноситься иначе. Теперь она проникает в общество, в частности, с помощью СМИ. “Как бы это ни звучало дико и страшно, мы сегодня говорим о нацизме не как об истории, а как о современности”, – отметила Клевцовская.
Предметы, представленные в экспозиции, связаны не только с периодом Великой Отечественной войны, но и с событиями на Украине в 2014-2022 годах. Знакомство с экспозицией начинается с подлинных экспонатов конца 1930-х – начала 1940-х годов из Германии. Они сопровождаются архивными документами и фотографиями. Среди них и редкие документы – уголовные дела, которые после войны были заведены на преступников, ответственных за злодеяния против человечности на территории УССР.
В отдельном разделе под названием “Нацизм сегодня” продемонстрированы десятки доказательств существования пронацистских настроений на Украине. Среди них – книги, форма, агитационная атрибутика украинских националистов, предметы с нацистской символикой. Материальные свидетельства дополняют фотографии и воспоминания очевидцев преступлений сторонников этой идеологии против мирного населения Украины. В центре экспозиции – инсталляция, посвященная погибшим детям Донбасса.
Часть материалов для выставки была взята из фондов музея, также в нее вошли экспонаты, предоставленные Донецким республиканским краеведческим музеем, Российским государственным архивом социально-политической истории и другими. В выставочном пространстве есть плакат с QR-кодом, по которому можно перейти и ознакомиться со специальным проектом ТАСС “Процесс”. Он рассказывает, как проходил суд над нацистами в рамках Международного военного трибунала в Нюрнберге.
Выставочный проект предназначен для посетителей старше 18 лет. Увидеть экспозицию можно будет до 17 июля 2022 года.
Открытие экспозиции дало старт проходящему в Музее Победы первому Всероссийскому школьному историческому форуму “Сила – в правде!”, участие в котором принимают школьники из разных регионов страны.
“В Музее Победы открылась выставка, на которой представлены конкретные доказательства того, что нацизм, к сожалению, процветал на Украине. И учебники, по которым учились ваши сверстники, говорили о том, что Россия – агрессор, что мы – не братские народы”, – сказал глава Минпросвещения РФ Сергей Кравцов, обращаясь к участникам форума.
Всероссийский школьный исторический форум “Сила – в правде!” приурочен ко Дню единых действий в память о жертвах преступлений против советского народа, совершенных нацистами и их пособниками в годы Великой Отечественной войны.
