Blogger’s Note: What a complicated web humanity weaves. The Palestinian Authorities (PA) is supposed to be associated with the Marxist-Leninist “Fateh” which used to have a controlling hand over the “Palestinian Liberation Organisation” (PLO). Following the death of Yassar Arafat (the guiding light of the PLO) in 2004 – the people of Gaza voted in “Hamas” – a Islamic militant group linked directly to Iran (a left-leaning Islamicist regime hostile to Marxism). Hamas represents the Gazan people through the lawful force of arms (Palestine is occupied by the Zionists). This situation has led to a split between Hamas and Fateh – who occasionally fight with one another. The PA (Fateh) has renounced violence with regard to opposing Israel – whilst Hamas rejects this position. You can see the issue. Most in the West do not understand the minutiae of what is happening in Palestine – and mistakenly believe their is a united front. As an aside, the only organisation that attempts a broad united front is the “Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine” (PFLP) headquartered in Lebanon. Meanwhile, PA, whilst collaborating with Israel locally (a point that angers Hamas-supporters), backs the “Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions” (BDS) campaign that seeks to economically isolate Israel by encouraging ordinary people in the West not to give their money to Israeli-supporting businesses. PA, therefore, the organisation that has praised North Korea below, advocates collaboration with Israel locally – whilst encouraging those living outside the Middle East to wage an economic war against Israel. Yes – PA complains continuously about the ill-treatment of Palestinian prisoners and the violent behaviour of Israeli-settlers – but does very little about it in practical terms. For this compliance, Israel permits PA to possess an armed force financed and armed by the West – which must be used to police the Palestinian population and prevent it from reacting violently against Israeli aggression. It would seem that the “BDS” is an exercise invented for the bourgeois West to practice – and as far as these things go – it can be effective. However, it is a long-term strategy that has very little short-term effect on the ground in Gaza. It does very little to protect the Palestinians being raped and killed by the Zionists on a daily basis. Here is the issue – I do not support or oppose Islamic Iran or left-leaning Islamic militancy (surely it is preferable to the fascism if ISIS and Al Qaeda – both US creations) – as I do not believe State-sponsored “religion” is a) the answer, or b) can bring lasting peace. Religions will never agree with one another – that is the nature of tyrannical theism. I do not understand how the UK has created a generation of White men (such as George Galloway, Chris Williamson, David Miller and others) who think that a left-leaning Islamacism is the answer to anything in Palestine. Bear in mind that I believe Iran should be left alone and its people allowed to peacefully get on with their lives – as I am not opposed to Iran per se. The Marxist-Leninism supposedly manifest in the West at the moment is primarily “Marxist” and less “Leninist” – as is evident by many of its bewildering dictates and decisions. All this stems from the post-1991 collapse of the USSR and the congealing of certain post-Soviet Communist groups around a half-baked revisionist Greek initiative (many state that the rot set-in during 1956 with Khrushchev’s betrayal of Stalin). You can see the encroaching Trotskyism with its decision to support Neo-Nazi Ukraine (deemed “freedom-fighters”) and Russia (declared “Imperialist”). Oneday, when this dialectical haze clears-up – I hope that a proper and correct Marxist-Leninist movement will re-emerge in the West and declare what we are seeing now as an “error” of dialectical judgement. As for those who can see what is happening, we must make the best of being separated and disorganised, and work from where we happen to be. We must keep-up the agitation for as long as it takes. I am sure PA is doing the best it can with the situation it has to exist within. After-all, it has no choice. ACW (17.8.2026)
