It is fascinating how the bourgeois media both manufactures racist angst amongst the various ethnic groups – whilst simultaneously criticising those who react with racial angst. The bourgeois media creates racism – and the criticism against it – it is a win-win situation for those who currently control the means of production. It is important to ensure that different ethnic groups separate along racial lines – and act in opposition to one another. This is important to prevent solidarity and internationalism. National governments use the dog whistle of unbridled immigration – ensuring those coming in are privileged and protected (unfairly) – and those they are settling amongst are treated unfairly and are not protected. The bourgeois media reacts loyaly to these dog whistles – and a definite dichotomy is achieved and perpetuated.
A simplistic narrative of “good” and “evil” is generated and everyone is forced to conform to it. This keeps the hate flowing. Take the Karmelo Anthony situation – there are many Black people who think he is a common murderer – and there are some White people who think he might have been acting in self-defence – but the media presents a clear battle-line – which sees all Black people stood one side – and all White people stood the other. It is not a coincidence that this ideology mirrors that of the far-right. The point is to prevent dialogue and discussion – and encourage aggression and discord. When both sides act out of frustration – the State then judiciously acts and imprisons those who take actions too far. Working-class unity must be prevented at all costs as this prevents unionisation and the general drive toward collective bargaining and the Socialist vision.
We are all being manipulated to oppose one another by a vicious bourgeoisie that seeks to present the false narrative that only “it” is capable of ruling society – and that the working-class is unfit for power. Ensuring an eternal “rupture” is the order of the day and this is achieved by brainwashing the workers into acting in a manner that is opposed to their own well-being. The deluded workers start believing in these false narratives and put into action the divisive ideology the bourgeoisie advocates and demands. Only the workers suffer – Black, White, Brown, Yellow, or whatever. On top of this, women are taught to hate men, and straight is trained to reject gay – and on and on it goes.
To round it all off – the reactionary religions weigh-in with their general support of the bourgeoisie and its greed-orientated capitalist system. Meanwhile, many of us who have “ingested” the play-book of the bourgeoise start to act-out its requirements in the physical world. When one side attacks the other – the State unleashes the judiciary to further punish these victims of manipulation. The media then reports the trials as a form of entertainment – and the resulting sentences as a form of religious retribution. Working-class self-education is the only way out of this situation. We must uproot greed, hatred, and delusion and work toward our own inner and outer well-being. Remember – the prevailing narratives (as entertaining as they are) – are AL false and have no bearing in reality. It is all about “power” and securing its contination.
