Cuba: Actions Intensify to Prevent & Confront US-Inspired Crime! (19.5.2026)

There is a US-financed (it is all about money – and has always been about money for the Yankee Imperialists) Fifth Column operating within the Cuban Mainland. These individual men and women have secret ties to the US government which rewards their families living in the US and guarantees an affluent retirement when their destructive work is over. The propaganda against Socialist Cuba is seen everywhere in the West – even fictitious crime-dramas like “Dexter” – which whilst conveying the psychopathic tendencies of a forensic expert working for the police, still manages to present “Cuba” (and “Cubans”) as being hopelessly impoverished and just waiting for an opportunity of literally “throwing” their immaciated bodies into the sea and somehow “floating” to US shores (where Dexter is waiting to kill the survivors and stockpile their remains in a convenient warehouse). This is not an exaggerated racist trope – and we had to stop watching (consuming) this show as a protest. Cuban sportspeople – often dominant Boxers – are portrayed as drug-riddled lunatics who win not because Socialism generates a superior person – but because their system is deficient and insane. Cuba: May Day Speech Delivered at the Closing of the International Meeting of Solidarity! (3.5.2026)

When it is said that we are an extraordinary and unusual threat to the United States – and we are sure that this is not the feeling of the American people, that is the pretext used by the American government to attack us – one wonders: What is the threat, what is extraordinary about that threat, what is unusual about that threat, when Cuba is a country of peace, when Cuba is a country that has served as the setting for the main peace dialogues in the Latin American and Caribbean region, when Cuba was the place where the Catholic Church and the Russian Orthodox Church came to meet to resolve the schism they had maintained for more than fifteen hundred years?

I try to answer that question every day, but, as Bruno explains, there is no pretext, there is no reason to justify military aggression against Cuba. Well, that “extraordinary and unusual threat” may be the example of resistance and creativity of the Cuban people.

When we talk about solidarity, I think we are talking about three elements that distinguish the value of international solidarity:

One is the tenderness of the peoples, because among all of us we have learned to share something that Fidel taught us, and that is that we do not give out of solidarity what we have left over, but we give what we have to share it among all.

Africa: Chinese Traditional Culture at Togo’s Independence Day! (28.4.2026)

A Chinese traditional culture contingent composed of students from the Confucius Institute at the University of Lome made its debut as the first folklore group in the procession, marking the first appearance of a foreign cultural contingent in the history of Togo’s Independence Day parade.

A total of 34 Confucius Institute students, dressed in traditional Hanfu and ethnic costumes, held peony-patterned umbrellas, while dragon and lion dance performers moved among them.

The display conveyed sincere festive greetings to the Togolese people and won warm applause and high praise from the audience.

Wang told Xinhua that the presence of “Chinese red” stood out in the procession, complementing Togo’s traditional cultural formations and jointly painting a vivid picture of harmonious exchanges between Chinese and Togolese civilizations.

She added that the performance had become a highlight of the China-Africa Year of People-to-People Exchanges.

Cuba Helps Jamaica!

I think this is typical of the hypocritical attitude of theistic religion, which is entirely selfish and self-serving. Bear in mind that Iraq was a secular Socialist State when it fought an 8-year war with Islamicist Iran (1980-1988). Politicised religion always acts this way. Whilst Neo-Nazi Ukraine is supported by the Catholic Church – Russia’s effort is backed by the Orthodox Church (I once encountered an Orthodox Priest at the Soviet War Memorial in London a few years ago – and had the feeling that I had experienced “pure evil”). This induced derision is exactly what politicised religion specialises in manufacturing. Trump is killing Cuba and Iran has been quite happy to falsely associate its Islamacist militancy with Cuba’s struggle when under attack by the West – but when Iran achieves the political upper-hand – Cuba’s (secukar Socialist) struggle is thrown in the bin. This is because theistic belief systems view secular Socialism as an attack on the literal accepting of religious teachings. Mark my words and learn from this. Israeli violence is entirely derived from its politicised religious beliefs – as the Israeli State also detests secular Socialism and acively works against it. Indeed, this would be an area of agreement between Iram, the US, and Israel. In another incarnation, Iran could be yet another Saudi Arabia!

However, I think the above video is very interesting from a sociological perspective. We are not permitted to own guns in the UK – but the police can shoot us dead if they feel the need. So be it. What we need to do is organise ourselves to a greater degree. We need to be clever and play cerebral chess with the capitalists. We must defend ourselves when the time is right. As a Chinese martial artist – I have had hundreds of fights in my life – using bare-hands and feet. Fighting is also about a superior position of the mind in the body – and about the body in the environment. Anything is possible. Watch this video and learn from it. As a Maoist and Stalinist – I am an “Internationalist” – even though the bourgeoisie will use all kinds of derisive tactics to keep us apart, and fight one another. The bourgeoisie will privilege one group over another to maintain the violence – this is how Reform UK is gaining political ground. These derisive tactics have to stop – so that the injustice that prevents “Internationalism” is removed. This barrier between migrants and indigenous people must be removed – so that aggression is replaced with compassion.

Cuba categorically declares that it does not harbour, support, finance or permit terrorist or extremist organizations. Our country maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards the financing of terrorism and money laundering, and is committed to preventing, detecting and confronting illicit financial activities, in line with international standards.

Any past interactions involving individuals subsequently designated as terrorists occurred only in limited humanitarian contexts, linked to internationally recognized peace processes, at the request of their respective governments, in a fully transparent manner.

Cuba does not host foreign military or intelligence bases and rejects characterization as a threat to U.S. security. Nor has it supported any hostile activity against that country nor will it allow our territory to be used against another nation.
