The US Has Attempted to ‘Eradicate’ The ‘Socialist’ History of Afghanistan!

Why Are the Taliban Harsh on Women?

This is an English translation of an original Chinese language text written by Chinese academic ‘Huang Na’. During the 1970s, the populations of the cities of Afghanistan voted in a ‘Socialist’ government. At the time, the tribal hinterlands were indifferent. As the cities were effectively Policed and well protected by a modern military – the tribal people had no interest in what went on within these areas. However, Nixon and then Carter – still smarting from the US defeat in Vietnam – were alarmed by the spread of Socialism on the borders of the USSR and China! This explains why it was important for the US to drive a wedge between the USSR and China – whilst demonising the Khmer Rouge in Kampuchea!

This policy worked as it maintained the Sino-Soviet Split (1956-1991) ensuring that China would oppose the Soviet Intervention in Afghanistan. Meanwhile, the CIA was tasked with driving a wedge between the progressive city populations in Afghanistan – and the conservative tribal populations inhabiting the rural periphery. This job was given to one ‘Colonel Tim Osman’ – more popularly known today as ‘Osama Bin Laden’ – a Saudi-born US citizen and secular Muslim. He did this by turning the passive (conservative) populations into rabid, racist and highly aggressive ‘Jihadists’. CIA ‘Arabs’ were brought in to indoctrinate the inert tribal masses with a mixture of Neo-Nazim and misinterpretations of Islamic theology! Defending one’s homeland was distorted into ‘taking’ and ‘stealing’ non-ancestral lands. Self-defence was distorted into self-offence. Protecting the innocent was distorted into eradicating the ‘infidel’! The religion of ‘peace’ was distorted into the Islamo-fascist ideology of war! The Soviet Red Army defended the Afghan Revolution from Islamo-fascism between 1979-1989. After this date, Osama Bin Laden slowly conquered the Socialist cities and had the subsequent prisoners publicly ‘beheaded’ using rusty knives.
