Lenin Was Not a Dictator (2017)

In reality, the true dictators in this world are found in the bourgeois class, and are continuously ‘elected’ into office by the ill-informed (and apathetic) voting populations of the capitalist, liberal democracies. Simply changing the despots every four or fives years does not change the nature of their dictatorial terms in office. For true despotism, look no further than David Cameron, Nick Clegg and Theresa May – the so-called Tory and LibDebs Junta – that has ruled the UK since 2010, and killed over 120,000 people with benefit cuts no one voted for, and through the privatisation of the NHS that nobody wants – and that’s just the UK! In fact, so many people have been killed on this small island since 2010, that it seems like the UK has been involved in a major (and disastrous) war, but these casualties have been inflicted by the liberal democracy we all so admire. Only genuinely ‘Socialist’ leaders can change this situation, and this fact only scares those invested in the system of capitalist exploitation. The dictatorship of the proletariat is the well-being of an entire class – which is very different to the egotistical (individualistic) dictatorship of the capitalist and the fascist. The working class directed the USSR – Lenin was just a mouthpiece for humanity!

Yesterday, my Alma Mater – the Ryazan Radio Engineering University – opened a time-capsule buried 50 years ago, containing a message from the student body of 1967, to their descendants half a century later – in 2017. What can I say … Read it for yourself:

‘Dear comrades (of the future Soviet Union), We, the participants of the Student Conference entitled ’50 Years of Soviet Radio Engineering’ – held on May 13th, 1967 in the Assembly Hall of the RREI – send you our greetings to the (Soviet) students of the 21st century. We have gathered together to assess the over-all development of Soviet Radio Engineering in the last 50 years (since the 1917 Russian Revolution). We hope that you will gather in the future, to also assess the great Soviet Achievements 50 years later in your time, understanding how fortunate you are to live in the world’s first Communist State which for you is now 100 years old! How has Soviet Radio Technology moved forward and progressed between 1967 and 2017?

Our Ryazan Radio Engineering Institute was founded in 1952. Now, it trains about 5000 students in the usual full-time academic manner, supplemented by both evening and correspondence faculties, where a further 2000-1000 students respectively, are now being trained.

The Institute has five faculties (not counting the evening and correspondence courses), which train engineers in 14 specialities. The faculties are entitled: radio engineering, electronic engineering, automatics and telemechanics, automatic control systems, and radio equipment design. These specialities span 31 departments. The Institute employs over 500 teachers (mostly young people), including 120 professors and associate professors.

For the years of its existence, our progressive Socialist Institute has produced about 4,500 Specialists in the latest branches of technology. They work in almost every city of our great Soviet Union. Scientific candidates for training at our Institute, are prepared through attending graduate school.

We enjoy very interesting lives. We have very good and varied amateur interests, facilitated through various clubs and interests groups. Many of us participate in the scientific work of all the departments. We love sports, theatre, and cinema. During the entire academic year, we work hard in classrooms, laboratories, and reading rooms. In the summer we leave for the collective farms and for the as of yet uncultivated lands, where we help build clubs, houses and various other structures (as a means to further the development of Socialism).. This is our work semester. A more complete picture of our life (and study) will be provided to you through the enclosed photographs and newspapers.

We are sure that in the year 2017, our progressive Institute will represent an even larger and perfect higher educational system in the USSR, training engineers of the 21st century – a century of new scientific discoveries and achievements. Therefore, we are envious of you, our future Comrades. However, you must not be conceited about this, and remember that we, (and our fathers), by labour and sacrifice, have created your great (Soviet) future in which you now live and prosper!

With Comradely Greetings.’

Mind Science

00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

Modern science (which was known by Buddha and the ancient Greeks), purports to objectively ‘measure’ physical matter, and ‘investigate’ its nature. This process is juxtaposed to the state of idealism, which is the observation of the interior of the mind, and the projection of what is seen onto the objective world – mistaking the former for the latter. What is important here, is the acknowledgement that whatever model of perception an individual lives within, it is the agency of the human mind that is the prime-mover of understanding. In theory it is entirely possible to exist only within an ideal world, where an individual consciousness is completely detached from the external physical world. This would require the maintenance of the physical body (and brain) to sustain the functionality of the mind. Of course, if everyone did this, and reality was redefined as a consequence, it would ultimately mean that the physical world would have to be abandoned. The paradox here is that everyone’s physical body would have to exist within a special machine that would require continuous maintenance. This would mean that some human beings would have to remain in the objective world to look after those who have abandoned it for what amounts to be a fantasy world. On the other hand, the world of imagination has to be side-lined for the human mind to focus on the scientific observation of physical matter. This would appear logical because ALL human beings are born not into the world of imagination, but firmly into the physical world. However, imagination does possess a very important function in that it can speculate and create the next stage of objective science. Imagination is also the natural home of religion. Religion itself has created a sophisticated view of the external world that only exists within the interior of the mind itself. In a very real sense, religion represents an ‘abandonment’ of the objective world, but as it does not possess a technological science, the body of religionists cannot fully leave the physical world whilst their bodies are still alive, hence the requirement for mythological visions of heaven and after-life, etc. The point that might well be missed by humanity pursuing this dichotomy, is that consciousness itself is inherently linked with the fabric of the universe (multi verse) itself, and that neither objective science nor religion has been able to establish an effective method to realise this connection. The science of the future will probably be beyond objective science and religion. Although it is possible that religion could make this breakthrough, it is doubtful that it will due to the current state of religions preventing any progressive developments whilst always seeking political power and converts. Modern science, on the other hand, definitely does possess the ability to transcend these barriers of perception, but again is hindered by political and economic constraints. In the meantime, individuals can choose to progress human evolution by deciding to think beyond the current socially accepted limitations of perception. This may not be easy – as sometimes the powers that be will attempt to oppress any progress in a certain direction that might deprive a privileged minority of their power and influence. In reality, progression requires bravery, insight and resolve.

The Agency of Disagreement

u=748195942,1199993164&fm=21&gp=0

Social media is primarily designed to share the world of visual imagery – but what does this mean?  For many it is merely the conveyance of photographs, paintings, pictures or written descriptions of objects or circumstance, whilst for others this process includes not only the outer texture of an object or an event, but also the ‘inner’ terrain of the mind when experiencing the outer object (i.e. the psychological and emotional response).  This tends to mean three ways of conveying (or communicating)  the world:

1) External description.

2) Internal description.

3) Integrated description.

As people are conditioned to think and react differently to exactly the same outer world, this means that an external object (or event) will be interpreted in a diverse and bewildering number of ways by different people.  Therefore a ‘tree’ for example, even if there is a general consensus that it is a ‘tree’, will be inwardly ‘experienced’ in a diverse manner.  Assuming the outer world is a sensory constant (in as much as for the time being it is always likely to be ‘there’) then it is obvious that it is the psychological and emotional responses of the inner person that is responsible for human creativity.  Ironically this dynamic process also ensures that where there is ‘creativity’ there will also be disagreement – as the agency of ‘disagreement’ appears to be the price humanity pays for being able to think for itself.  This being the case, conflict can be avoided by planning for it.  How an individual responds to the outer world is a matter of upbringing and conditioning, but the interesting point about this is that the concept of ‘conditioning’ is an ongoing process that take surprising twist and turns, even if at times many appear stuck in their ways.  The way to maintain peace is to be able to present ‘difference’ in a robust and convincing manner, so that those who do not like what you say (or do) are encouraged to seek-out why their inner world differs from your own.  This is an individual process of continuous inner and outer dialogue with the external world and inner psychological imprint of that world, as well as the learning process of sharing different viewpoints with others an having those viewpoints either validated or challenged in a constructive and progressive manner.  Education regarding the outer world, and an appreciation of the workings of the inner world are required if the average individual is to maximise the benefit of the human tendency toward the development and advancement of evolutionary knowledge.  If too much time is spent fighting over whose inner experiences are more valid than anyone else’s, then humanity will cease to progress.  There must be clarity of thought and the ability to acknowledge when the quality of thought has been improved through the agency of a difference of opinion.

Greed Stunts the Evolution of the Species

aGreed-001

The policy of greed encourages individuals to pull all resources toward themselves, whilst simultaneously pushing all other individuals away (because each individual is a potential competitor for those resources). Greed is the historical basis of ‘individuality’. Greed ensures that everyone is the enemy, and that everyone who is a ‘friend’ is simply a fellow grasper of resources. This creates islands of affluence in a sea of deprivation. If humanity continues to exist in this manner, then as a species it cannot psychologically or physically evolve. Instead humanity will stay in a precarious evolutionary niche whereby the pointless battle for the acquisition of resources will continue regardless of already existing individual wealth, or the wealth of the nation.  Greed as a conditioned mentality is default set to attack and resist its opposite – anti-greed – and will marshal endless material resources to prevent its establishment in the world.  This is greed acting in self-defense.  Greed has to behave in this manner because it is an outmoded means of survival that manifested in the pre-human ancestry when logic and reason was absent in the species.  Greed is an instinct that fights for food, shelter, and political influence over the other members of the group or tribe.  Rich people, for instance, become rich because of greed (either their own or their ancestors), and continue to pursue this policy of depriving others of material possessions and political influence even though they already possess ample resources of their own to live many lifetimes in relative ease.  Rich people are greedy even though they have enough, whereas poor people are by necessity desperate for the basic needs of daily existence.  As a minority of society are rich (through the successful application of greed), and given that this minority retains control of the majority of the wealth and virtually all of the political power, poorer people are forced to artificially ‘compete’ over what resources are left (the unsuccessful application of greed), whilst simultaneously existing within a society in the Western world that possesses a vast bedrock of affluence.  This highly exploitative system of ‘greed’ is replicated from one generation to the next, with any attempt to deviate from its remit severely attacked and destroyed, as in such a society greed must always be seen to be winning.  However, it is exactly this process (and ability) to deviate from the established status quo that is the essence of evolution through natural selection that if allowed to happen, would psychologically and physically transition humanity into an entirely new era of reality.  Pursuing greed form one generation to the next is effectively allowing the ‘greedy’ to dictate and define human reality, and is preventing ever greater depth of investigation and exploration in the fields of inner and outer understanding and achievement.  The greedy are not ‘fit’ human beings in the evolutionary sense, but artificially create a power base for themselves within society that subordinates all others to it.  Those who are subordinate to the greedy are by far the best model of evolutionary ‘fitness’ because they are still participating in the meaningful struggle for survival despite the fact that their society is rich.  This model holds true for the world at large whereby a small number of countries (through their historical national greed) hold most of the wealth, and pursue international policies that subordinate the other (poorer) countries to their will.  Greed is an evolutionary ‘trap’ that raises the ‘unfit’ (i.e. the international middle and upper classes) over the ‘fit’ (i.e. the international working class).  In nature this cycle would be broken by a species-wide adaptation that advocates a ‘non-greed’ trend of evolution in such a manner that it would sweep all ‘greed’ orientated tendencies away as being manifestations of backward and non-progressive modes of existence.  Greed is conservative in nature and as it is being allowed to currently define human society, it is preventing the human species from collectively advancing on the path of inner and outer evolutionary development which is potentially limitless in scope.
