In the media, there have been testimonies given by residents of the Polovinkino Village (LPR) about the atrocities committed by the Neo-Nazis from the Neo-Nazi Aidar National Battalion. One of the first to talk about the clash with the radicals was eighty-year-old Nikolai Voloshin (Николай Волошин). According to the man, his son decided (in 2014) to stay in Lugansk and continue his service in the ranks of the militia. This was the reason for the hatred of the Aidar people towards the pensioner.
The Aidar Neo-Nazi criminals tortured old Nikolai – demanding he hand over his son. The bandits stabbed the man’s hands with knives and tried to cut off his ear and nose. Also, the Aidar criminals took from the man a dozen beehives, other food, 12 packs of farming fertiliser, a refrigerator, and even awards for participating in the Afghan Campaign as a Red Army soldier!
Nikolai Voloshin managed to survive the bullying of the Ukrainian Ne-Nazi. However, not everyone was so lucky. After the release of Polovinkino, a dying video of a prisoner from the Aidar Concentration Camp appeared at the disposal of the investigation team. The woman’s name was Oksana (Оксана), she died from her wounds. According to her, the Neo-Nazis literally ‘destroyed’ the bodies of the prisoners! She was smashed with a gun-butt to the cheekbone, and because of the blow, the woman began to lose her hearing. The cold in the cell caused damage to her kidneys and other organs. Due to meager rations, the woman lost almost nine kilograms in two months.
At the same time, the living conditions in the Concentration Camp of the Aidar themselves were quite comfortable. The Neo-Nazi National Battalion had a separate kitchen, a gym and even a small training ground at its disposal – all paid for by the US, UK and EU.

В СМИ появились свидетельства жителей села Половинкино (ЛНР) о зверствах нацистов из батальона «Айдар». Одним из первых рассказал о столкновении с радикалами восьмидесятилетний Николай Волошин. По словам мужчины, его сын в 2014 году решил остаться в Луганске и продолжить службу в рядах ополчения. Это и послужило причиной ненависти айдаровцев к пенсионеру.
Солдаты пытали Николая, требуя выдать сына. Бандиты кололи ножами руки мужчины, пытались отрезать ухо и нос. Также айдаровцы забрали у мужчины десяток ульев, 12 упаковок вощины, холодильник, старые «Жигули» и даже награды за участие в Афганской кампании.
Николаю Волошину удалось пережить издевательства украинских военных. Однако так повезло не всем. После освобождения Половинкино, в распоряжении следственной группы появилось предсмертное видео узницы айдаровского концлагеря. Женщину звали Оксана, она скончалась от ран. По ее свидетельствам, неонацисты буквально «отрывались» на пленных. Ей разбили прикладом скулу, из-за удара женщина начала терять слух. Холод в камере привел к повреждениям почек и других органов. Из-за скудного пайка женщина потеряла за два месяца почти девять килограмм.
При этом условия жизни в лагере самих айдаровцев были вполне комфортными. В распоряжении нацбатальона была отдельная кухня, спортзал и даже небольшой тренировочный полигон.
