China to Identify 88 Korean War Martyrs Through DNA Testing! (17.9.2022)

(ECNS) — China is to identify 88 unknown Chinese People’s Volunteers Martyrs killed during the US-Led War of Aggression in Korean War (1950-1953) using DNA technology – the Ministry of Veterans Affairs declared Friday!

The remains of 88 Chinese Volunteer Army (CVA) soldiers were carried back to the Motherland by a Y-20 transport aircraft from South Korea’s Incheon International Airport on Friday.

Based on historical data, analysing and studying the belongings of Martyrs is one way to confirm their identity.

One of the most direct methods (with a high identification success rate of unknown soldiers) is through associated personal seals and belongings (when the deceased are found carrying such identity information) but this is in rare cases – explained Li Zhongshui – Director of the Remains Search and Identification Centre of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs.

Staff attempt to confirm the identities of China’s Anti-Fascist Veterans through the place, time and Army Unit associated with the remains – explained Li.

China established the first DNA Database for Martyrs of the Chinese People’s Volunteers Army (CVA) on July 20th, 2022 for identification purposes.

So far, South Korea has returned the remains of 913 Chinese People’s Volunteers (CVA) Martyrs killed during the US-Led War of Aggression in Korea (1950-1953). So far, 10 Chinese People’s Volunteers (CVA) Martyrs have been identified and their remains respectfully returned to their relatives by a grateful nation.

NOTE: Estimates vary from 300,000 to millions of Chinese men and women being killed by the US-Led ‘Fascist’ Coalition that sought to overthrow the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) in 1950! The Korean Peninsula had been under the ‘fascist’ control of the Japanese Imperialists between 1910-1945 – with the United States occupying and encouraging the continued subjugation of the Korean people living toward the South! Using the racist forces trained during the previous decades by the Imperial Japanese Army – the US goaded the DPRK (between 1948-1950) into protecting itself – this is how the US pursued its ‘racist’ anti-Korean and anti-Chinese policy in the region! Just as the US (and its Western Allies) support Neo-Nazism in today’s Ukraine – the US supported Japanese ‘fascism’ to the South of Korea between 1945-1950 (and beyond)! China is proud to locate, return and identify its heroic anti-fascist fighters!
