One of the most effective exports of the US since 1945 – other than global war and predatory capitalism – is, of course, its general capacity to present ‘anti-intellectualism’ as the highest expression of ‘free-will’! John Hopkins University has released the latest Covid-19 statistics which state that the richest capitalist country in the world (the ‘US’) and the poorest capitalist country in the world (‘India’) rank ‘first’ and ‘second’ respectively for a) the highest infection rate of Covid-19, and b) the highest death rate caused by Covid-19!
