Report of the commander of the 1st Belorussian Front, Marshal of the Soviet Union G.K. Zhukov, to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief I.V. raised the Soviet flag on it.
Particularly distinguished in these battles were the 79th Rifle Corps of Major General Perevertkin and the 150th Rifle Division of Major General Shatilov.
