The US, whilst impoverishing millions of its own citizens, has always attempted to use a wealth (earned after centuries of capitalist profit accumulation) – to undermine any Socialist State that is struggling to create a new society ‘free’ of debt and exploitation! In this regard, North Korea, protected as it is by the Behemoth that is ‘Communist’ China, is probably the most successful model of such a small State – even though the ogre of US oppression lies on its very borders! The US colony of South Korea is a hideous country where ethnic Koreans are held ‘prisoner’ by their US overlords and forced to convert to Christianity whilst living in abject poverty! Those lucky enough to make out to the New Malden area of the UK – not far from where I live – often sit and tell me the terrible oppression they have suffered and how they do not want to go back! The US lets ethnic Koreans migrate to the US to form cheap labour – or a small number to come the UK to work in the car industry. Many ethnic Koreans deliberately have babies in the UK so that these children become ‘British’ and do not have to be brought up in the tyranny of the South Korean State ran by the US! In the UK it is illegal for children of ethnic Asian families to be ‘forced’ back to the countries of their parent’s birth for arranged marriage or other spurious reasons!
I have an ethnic Spanish friend who describes himself as a ‘Communist’ – but he once stated to me that he was not really interested in China or the USSR – but rather Che Guevara and the South American Revolutionary legacy! When I thought about it, I suppose this makes sense as we are drawn to the conventions we are most familiar with despite the need for ‘Internationalism’. For instance, I am a ‘White’ (British) Chinese person with Irish and Black aspirations. I have always supported the Cuban Revolution – but other than admiring Che Guevara (which I do) – until recently I did not have much knowledge of Cuba itself. I know that in the ‘Dexter’ TV series – ethnic Cubans are depicted as escaping a Hitleresque tyranny and arriving in Miami floating on doors! This is US racist bullshit! The point is that America is destroying Cuba’s Revolution piece by piece and turning Cuban people into just more cheap labour for the US mill! Another disturbing fact is that in the UK many of the Trotskyite Unions are openly supporting Cuba whilst their representatives continuously issue US-friendly attacks on China and North Korea! Why is the Cuban cause (which is supported by China) being distanced in the West from China by the very Unions that are willing to pay for advertisements in the Cuban Solidarity Magazines! A side issue is that some of these Unions are also flirting with the far-right and making anti-vax statements! This is NOT the calibre of support that Cuba needs – but as matters stand – perhaps it is the only support Cuba can muster in the current US-dominated climate!
