Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea – gave on-site guidance to the State Space Development Agency on April 18th (112-2023).
Comrade Park Tae-sung – Secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea – Comrade Kim Jung-shik – Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea – Comrade Kim Seung-chan – President of the Kim Il-sung University and Higher Education Award of the Education Commission – Comrade Kim Seung-chan – President of Kim Chaek University of Technology – Comrade Park Ji-min and other responsible officials of educational and scientific research institutes, information and communication science – were accompanied by technicians and experts from the Technical Research Sector and Commanding Officers of the Technical Reconnaissance Bureau of the General Reconnaissance Bureau of the Korean People’s Army.
Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un – stated the National Space Development Agency is the core space science and technology for achieving the immediate and prospective goals of the space policy presented by the 8th Party Congress and the 5th and 6th Plenary Meetings of the 8th Central Committee of the Party. He highly praised the achievements made in during Research Project. He stated that the development of the space industry has a very important significance in building a Socialist Economic power driven and guaranteed by science and technology! The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un set forth the mission tasks to be undertaken in the groundbreaking development of science and technology in the field of space travel. Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said that the greatness of the space industry is a key factor in pioneering a shortcut to secure the status of a world-class economy and science and technology powerhouse – and that it is a demonstration of comprehensive national power. He said that it is necessary to build a dignified space industry that can lead. Dear Comrade Kim Jong Un, in achieving accelerated development in the space field, at the present stage, from the standpoint of the country’s strategic interests, advanced a valuable space development plan that must be put into practice first – with the results continuously expanding and growning – ultimately leading to the development of our country. He clarified that it is the steadfast stand of our Party and the government of the Republic to build it into a world-class space power!
In particular, he said that the possession of weather observation satellites, earth observation satellites, and communication satellites should be set as preoccupation notices to thoroughly prepare for disaster-prone weather, effectively protect and use national resources, and urgently prepare the possibility to strongly promote the scientific development of the national economy. It is also important to establish a system in which education and scientific research departments at all levels actively participate in satellite development projects for various practical purposes whilst increasing national investment to promote the development of space science and technology. He stressed that the production of highly reliable delivery rockets should be carried out in earnest and satellite launch sites reflecting the ideals and aspirations of building a space power should be splendidly built!
Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un is turning South Korea into an outpost of aggression and a powder keg of war by deploying various and vast strategic equipment, including nuclear aircraft carriers and nuclear strategic bombers throughout the Korean Peninsula and surrounding areas at a constant level. Starting from the prospective concern that the military actions of the US and South Korea, which threaten the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Korea under the pretext of the present situation together with a combined readiness posture, may become more open! The 8th Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea set out the five key goals for the development of national defense power. He reminded that the possession of the space reconnaissance capability to constantly monitor the military intentions and movements of the hostile forces was presented as the most important prerequisite task in building the country’s defense capability.
Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un defends the State’s safe environment and territorial integrity from military threats and challenges from the United States and South Korea, whose possession of military reconnaissance satellites is expanding in a cascading fashion and adheres to the well-being and developmental interests of the people, and preemptively deploys military power according to the situation. While clarifying again the role, strategic value, and significance of strengthening the self-defensive national defense capability for use! Acquiring it can never be given up or missed, both in terms of the recently created demand for a safe environment on the Korean Peninsula and in terms of managing prospective threats. It is an irreplaceable and indispensable prerequisite for strengthening our Armed Forces – and it thoroughly belongs to our State sovereignty and the right to self-defense!
Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un – as the United States and South Korea spouted the most hostile rhetoric and demonstrated with clear actions this year – has continued to plan to further strengthen their anti-DPRK military posture in the name of “providing extended deterrence” and “strengthening the ROK-US alliance.” Under these circumstances, it is natural for our State to develop military deterrence commensurate with the current and future worrisome security environment – and to obtain and operate military reconnaissance means is essential to improving the military effectiveness and practicality of our various means of war deterrence. He said that this should be the most important and top priority task of our Collective Nation!
Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un organized a non-stationary satellite launch preparation committee to launch Military Reconnaissance Satellite No. 1 – which had was successfully manufactured as of April – within the planned time frame – with accelerated final preparations. He set forth the militant task of firmly building reconnaissance and information-gathering capabilities by the DPRK. Receiving great trust and encouragement from the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un – the officials, scientists and engineers of the National Space Development Agency will become space conquerors who faithfully uphold the Party’s vision of building a grand space power through perfect practice – and thus achieve the Republic’s self-respect, authority and independence! 조선로동당 총비서이시며 조선민주주의인민공화국 국무위원장이신 경애하는 김정은동지께서 4월 18일 국가우주개발국을 현지지도하시였다.
조선로동당 중앙위원회 비서 박태성동지,조선로동당 중앙위원회 부부장 김정식동지,김일성종합대학 총장 겸 교육위원회 고등교육상 김승찬동지와 김책공업종합대학 총장 박지민동지를 비롯한 교육 및 과학연구기관의 책임일군들,정보통신과학기술연구부문의 기술자,전문가들과 조선인민군 정찰총국 기술정찰국의 지휘성원들이 동행하였다.
경애하는 김정은동지를 현지에서 국가우주개발국과 국방과학원의 지도간부들이 영접하였다.
경애하는 김정은동지께서는 우주과학연구원과 우주환경시험기지 등 여러곳을 돌아보시면서 나라의 우주산업을 전망적으로 확대발전시킬데 대한 우리 당의 원대한 우주정복정책이 제시한 당면한 과학연구사업진행정형과 최근시기 우주과학연구부문에서 달성한 핵심기술개발 및 생산추진실태를 구체적으로 료해하시였다.
경애하는 김정은동지께서는 국가우주개발국이 당 제8차대회와 당중앙위원회 제8기 제5차,제6차전원회의가 제시한 우주정책의 당면한 목표와 전망적목표들을 달성하기 위한 핵심우주과학기술연구사업에서 괄목할만한 성과들을 이룩한데 대하여 높이 평가해주시였다.
경애하는 김정은동지께서는 과학기술에 의하여 추동되고 담보되는 사회주의경제강국을 건설하는데서 우주산업의 발전은 대단히 중요한 의의를 가진다고 하시면서 우주분야과학기술을 획기적으로 발전시키는데서 나서는 강령적과업들을 제시하시였다.
경애하는 김정은동지께서는 우주산업장성은 세계적인 경제 및 과학기술강국의 지위를 확보하기 위한 지름길개척에서 핵심적인 요소로,종합적국력의 시위로 된다고 하시면서 독자적인 우주개발에 지속적인 박차를 가하여 나라의 경제발전을 힘있게 주도할수 있는 당당한 우주산업을 건설해야 한다고 말씀하시였다.
경애하는 김정은동지께서는 우주분야의 가속적발전을 이룩함에 있어서 현 단계에서는 국가의 전략적리익의 견지에서 선진적이며 가치있는 우주개발계획들부터 선행시켜 실행해나가며 성과를 부단히 확대장성시켜 궁극적으로 우리 나라를 세계적인 우주강국으로 일떠세우는것이 우리 당과 공화국정부의 확고부동한 립장이라고 천명하시였다.
특히 기상관측위성,지구관측위성,통신위성보유를 선점고지로 정하여 재해성기후에 철저히 대비하고 나라의 자원을 효과적으로 보호하고 리용하며 인민경제의 과학적발전을 강력히 추동할수 있는 가능성을 시급히 마련하여야 한다고 말씀하시였다.
또한 각급 교육 및 과학연구부문이 실용적인 각이한 용도의 위성개발사업에 적극 참여하는 체계를 세우고 국가적투자를 늘여 우주과학기술분야의 발전을 도모하도록 하는것이 중요하며 다양한 위성개발이 가속화되는데 맞게 표준화된 믿음성높은 운반로케트생산을 본격적으로 진행하며 우주강국건설의 리상과 포부가 반영된 위성발사장들을 훌륭히 건설해야 한다고 강조하시였다.
경애하는 김정은동지께서는 미제가 핵항공모함과 핵전략폭격기를 비롯한 각이하고도 방대한 전략장비들을 조선반도와 주변지역에 상시배치수준으로 전개하면서 남조선을 침략의 전초기지로,전쟁화약고로 전변시키고있는 현 실태와 련합준비태세의 구실밑에 우리 공화국의 자주권과 령토완정을 위협하는 미국과 남조선의 군사행동이 보다 로골화될수 있는 전망적우려로부터 출발하여 조선로동당 제8차대회는 국방력발전 5대중점목표에 적대세력들의 군사적기도와 움직임을 상시장악하기 위한 우주정찰능력의 보유를 우리 국가의 방위력건설의 가장 중차대한 선결적과업으로 제시하였다고 상기시키시였다.
경애하는 김정은동지께서는 군사정찰위성보유가 계단식으로 확장되고있는 미국과 남조선의 군사적위협과 도전으로부터 국가의 안전환경과 령토완정을 수호하고 인민의 안녕과 발전리익을 고수하며 상황에 따라 선제적인 군사력을 사용하기 위한 자위적국방력강화에서 노는 역할과 전략적가치와 의의에 대하여 다시금 밝히시면서 이를 획득함은 최근 조성된 조선반도안전환경의 요구로 보나 전망적인 위협을 관리하는 견지에서 보나 절대로 포기할수도,놓칠수도,바꿀수도 없는 필수불가결의 우리 무력강화의 선결적과업으로 되며 철저히 우리의 국가주권과 정당방위권에 속한다고 말씀하시였다.
경애하는 김정은동지께서는 미국과 남조선이 올해에 들어와 가장 적대적인 수사적표현을 내뱉으며 명백한 행동으로 보여준바와 같이 앞으로도 《확장억제력제공》과 《한미동맹강화》의 명목밑에 반공화국군사태세를 더욱 강화하려고 획책하는 상황에서 우리 국가가 현재와 미래의 우려스러운 안보환경에 상응한 군사적억제력을 키우는것은 너무나도 당연하며 여기에서 군사정찰수단을 획득하고 운용하는것은 우리의 각이한 전쟁억제수단들의 군사적효용성과 실용성제고에서 그 무엇보다 중차대한 최우선과업으로 된다고 하시였다.
경애하는 김정은동지께서는 4월현재 제작완성된 군사정찰위성 1호기를 계획된 시일안에 발사할수 있도록 비상설위성발사준비위원회를 구성하고 최종준비를 다그쳐 끝내며 앞으로 련속적으로 수개의 정찰위성을 다각배치하여 위성에 의한 정찰정보수집능력을 튼튼히 구축할데 대한 전투적과업을 제시하시였다.
경애하는 김정은동지의 크나큰 믿음과 고무를 받아안은 국가우주개발국의 일군들과 과학자,기술자들은 우리 당의 원대한 우주강국건설구상을 완벽한 실천으로 충직하게 떠받드는 우주정복자가 되여 공화국의 자존과 권위,주체조선의 위대한 국력을 우주만리에 보란듯이 올려세울 불같은 결의에 넘쳐있었다.
