Although never formally knighted for his many services to the realm – the glam rock performed by Paul Gadd (aka “Gary Glitter”) – has always been a favourite amongst many royals. The king has been known to raise and drop his knee to the rhythmical tracks of the man simply known to many as the “Leader” (albeit “uncrowned”)! As the Press has broken the sad news that Paul Gadd – now 81 – is nearing the end of his life in HMP Channings Wood – it has emerged that Buckingham Palace is considering a “Royal Pardon”. King Charles has commented that,
“As Paul Gadd has spent so many years of his life languishing ‘At His Majesty’s Pleasure’ – it seems only right and fair that his extraordinary steadfastness be ultimately rewarded.”
Some of this “languashing”, of course, was at the “Will” of the King’s late Mother – Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II – who is not reported to have considered such an option through the use of Her Privy Council.
If this bid to interfere with the judicial process is successful – then Gary Glitter will be scheduled to perform his hit track “Hello Hello I’m Back Again” in front of his Majesty the King, Camilla, and David Attenborough at Sandringham sometime in the Autumn of 2026. This event will be backed by Netflix and streamed pay-per-view across many of its platforms – and will be made “free-to-view” two-weeks later. Elon Musk is also considering purchasing the rights for his media empire (aligning himself with Robert Lowe, Nigel Farage and Piers Corbyn) – as is Disney+. The BBC Christmas Special of Dr Who – penned by Russell T Davis – is also considering Paul Gadd making an appearance as “Sir Gareth Glitter” – an alien knight infiltrating the the court of King Arthur for nefarious (possibly homosexual} purposes!
