Also known as the ‘Night Stalker’. A Mexican-American whose parents had lived near the areas of US atomic tests in the 1940s and 1950s. His mother gave birth to a number of ‘deformed’ or ‘disabled’ children due to what we know now is radiation poisoning. Ricky looked physically well-built and was considered good-looking – but the theory is that he might have had some type of brain-damage, etc. However, he also had a cousin who had been to Vietnam and had enjoyed the continuous raping and murdering of Vietnamese women. He showed Ricky photographs of the rapes in action – and then showed him a ‘shrunken head’ he had smuggled back into the US. This was the head of the woman he liked to rape the most. This cousin (‘Mike’) also shot and killed his wife in front of Ricky when he was only 12-years-old. Anyway, the sister of Mike’s murdered wife went to a local Mexican witch-doctor (specialising in ‘black magic’) who cast an ‘illness’ spell on Mike who was in prison. Mike fell ill and would not move. His family got a Catholic priest to bless him in his prison bed – but it had no effect. Another relative contacted a different (white-magic) witch-doctor living in the Mexican community. He said he had to first remove the Christian blessing as it was not strong enough and was ‘blocking’ the healing process – and under it was the very strong and good quality ‘black-magic’ illness spell designed to slowly kill by sapping the will to live from within. This new witch-doctor knew the counter-spell and after delivering it correctly – he said Mike would be up in about an hour. Around an hour later – Mike sat up as usual and said he felt fine. He had no memory of the last month or so, and eventually also got away with the murder of his wife due to a feigned mental illness. After sitting in a mental hospital for four years or so – he was released to exert an even greater influence on Ricky! Richard Rameriz seemed to target a great many Asians which looks to me like a deliberate fetish – although other commentators seem to think it was all random. I think just before he died in 2013 – new DNA technology finally proved that one of his early victims (in 1984) was a 9-year-old Chinese girl called ‘Mei Leurng’ (although he may have carried this crime out with one other man). He kidnapped her, tortured her for days, and continuously raped her before finally killing her. At the time, the police did not associate this terrible crime with Rameriz!
