The only war is class war. It is not Black against White – White against non-White. The bourgeoisie – the ruling class – wants the working-class to disintegrate into competing sub-groups that hate one another. Whilst the working-class fights one another – it cannot organise to fight the bourgeoisie, seize control of the means (and forces) of production, and initiate a Socialist Revolution! The bourgeois weaponizes migration and makes it a very important element of modern life – but (individual) migrants are not the problem. Migrants are also the victims of the bourgeois manipulation of society. Migrants are human-beings who fall into the trap of bourgeois social engineering. In reality, any one of us can be a “migrant”. During WWII, my mother’s family was bombed out of their Lewisham home in East London by the Nazi German Luftwaffe. All they had was the clothes they were wearing in bed. They were put on a train and sent to Oxford as internal migrants (evacuees).
When they arrived, nobody wanted to help. They had to walk the streets for two-days in the Oxford area until a Police Constable directed them to a local school. Here, they were given food and a bed on the floor of a school hall. Eventually, a local family let them live in a small cottage – where they slowly developed a new life. My grandfather joined the Royal Navy Patrol Service (RNPS) and fought in the North Atlantic fighting in-part alongside the USSR. My grand-uncle joined the Coldstream Guards and guard Buckingham Palace for a time. At the beginning, local Oxford people did not like the Cockney accents of my family – but they soon got use to it. My family eventually got jobs in the local area, joined Unions, and integrated into the local community. This is why I was born in Oxford. I am the product of displacement due to war – albeit within my own country. Today, the bourgeoisie loves to make international “war” as a business option that generates billions of dollars each year.
Yes – there are ample issues and problems regarding different groups in the UK (and elsewhere). Yes – there are conflicts and antagonism. I write about these things on a regular basis – but do not mistake the recognition of these problems as an endorsing or supporting of these problems. I explain the issues surrounding migration as a bourgeois act of criminality – but I do not blame the migrants themselves – unless, of course, certain individuals have committed crime. For instance, I am well aware the the recently arrived Hong Kong Rioters (who are given free houses, cars, education, money, and healthcare, etc), are advised by the UK government to pretend they are Christians – and to join far-right supporting political groups, on the grounds that these groups are naturally “anti-Socialist”.
Such groups write in the Chinese language on Telegram – currently eulogising Nigal Farage for his recent anti-PRC comments (claiming Communists are paedophiles). These people have been re-settled all around us in South London with their children attending local schools. When I have to personally interact, I ignore them, or respond with a superficial politeness. This is just one example of the challenges the bourgeoisie sets us in the continuous battle to retain solidarity and internationalism. Other Chinese people in the UK also find the Hong Kong Rioters to be exploitative and racist. These challenges must be acknowledged and overcome. There is no need for violence or far-right attacks and deportations!
