Blogger’s Note: I draw a distinction between Judaism and ‘Zionism’ – and agree with the 1975 UN Declaration that Zionism (which was developed in the late 1800s in Germany) is an ideology of ‘White Supremacy’ practiced by ‘White’ (European) secular Jews. Albert Einstein, during the 1930s and 1940s thought that Zionism was an important bulwark between the oppressed Jews of Europe and the German and Italian fascists that were persecuting them! At this time, even ‘Black’ boxers wore the ‘Star of David’ on their trunks in solidarity – even though it is well-known that Zionist attitudes toward non-White people were often far from reciprocal. Later, following the partition of Palestine by the UN in 1947 – Albert Einstein changed his views entirely about ‘Zionism’ after he was told of the racist violence that the ‘White’ Zionist Jews were inflicting on the unarmed (non-White) Palestinian populations as Jewish invaders stole their land and homes!
Prior to this, of course, gangs of Zionist terrorists had attacked British civilians, soldiers, police, property and any Arabs who supported the British. This Zionist terrorism continued against the British throughout the late 1930s and early to mid 1940s – at exactly the same time that the British Army was busy fighting Nazi Germany around the world! Zionist propaganda does not represent Judaism and is even opposed by many people of Jewish origin. Albert Einstein, however, after the Zionist murder of a UN Ambassador in 1948, and seeing the definite shift to the right, (a tendency he described as ‘fascist’), turned-down the offer of being ‘President’ of Israel in 1952! The problem is that post-1948 Zionist propaganda not only (deliberately) misrepresents history, but the liberal (Bourgeois) media actively supports this distortion! This fact plays into the hands of the political far-right which not only persecutes the mainstream Jews spread throughout the world – but retains cordial relationships with Israel’s Zionist representatives! For instance, when my family was protesting on the London streets against the latest atrocity committed by the IDF against Palestinian civilians – pro-Israeli Zionists were marching against us shoulder to shoulder with the far-right English Defence League! Recently in Kyiv, video emerged of Swastika waving Ukrainian Neo-Nazis marching through the streets with Israeli flag waving IDF Veterans – all performing straight-armed salutes!
I include on this post the Oxford University explanation of why the Jews were expelled from England in 1290 CE. The trend at the moment is to reduce all exposure, criticism and evaluation of Zionist activity as being ‘anti-Semitic’ – even when such an analysis is also carried-out by ethnic Jews! Such an attitude, should it last, is anti-intellectual and is a licence for a right-wing (White) group of people to commit any crime they so choose to commit without fear of any legal retaliation. This is why I have supported the work of the International Jewish Anti-Zionist – but what is required in the long term is correct critical thinking. The post-1948 hijacking of the WWII narratives by the Zionists (which ‘excludes’ all mention of the Soviet Red Army ‘liberating’ the Death Camps) is a major problem, particularly as the far-right pursues the straw dog argument that ‘Communism’ equals ‘Judaism’ and vice versa. The Zionists reject Soviet (and ‘Socialist’) ideology – whilst the far-right accuses the Jews and the Zionists of being the very essence of ‘Communism’! Of course, bourgeois academia has continuously pursued a false narrative when assessing the Socialist cause – but as this class currently controls the means of production – one of its lies possesses the ability to withstand the impact of a hundred proletariat facts that prove it wrong! However, we have to start somewhere and we might as well use Oxford to our advantage – a University which has produced its own fair share of Communists – and it own far share of anti-Communist propaganda (such as its infamous, inaccurate ‘Black Book’)!
