Blogger’s Note: What a world we live in. When I travelled around the world – the first lesson is that you obey the laws of the country you are visiting. Even then – there are occasional misunderstandings on the cultural front – but nothing that would constitute a crime-wave. Come to think of it, nothing that would prompt a foreign government to issue “guidance” regarding NOT to commit a serious crime! Of course, many countries I visited had been British colonies in the past – where we (the “British”) might have committed the odd crime of theft and exploitation. I found France odd (a car full of skin-heads pulled-up on the road and the occupants went to get out and attack myself and my Chinese partner) – and that is only next-door. I had my pocket-picked in Florence by Gypsy women – who returned my wallet and cards minus the cash. In Sri Lanka the middle class said they “missed” British rule – which took me by surprise. Hong Kong had double-decker buses and you could tell the British had been there – although I was harassed by the police for being a European in a Chinese area (I went in 1999). Portugal had TV sets with no volume buttons – so that the government could turn the noise down at night. It was the poverty that I saw outside the tourist spots that effected me the most. Holland was perhaps the most laid-back and tolerant country I visited. Labour has no intention of removing the anti-union laws or stopping mass immigration. This leaflet smacks of desperation as Labour faces the threat of being voted-out and a far-right party taking its place. This leaflet is cosmetic. indeed, it comes across as farcical. The far-right portray the issue as the migrants committing crimes against the (White) British – but the migrants (or at least a certain strata of that population) commits crimes against other migrants – whilst crime is also committed against migrants by non-migrants. Migrants are also raped and robbed. It is the concept of the free movement of cheap labour over national borders that is causing all the problems. Now, Burnham has announced that there are “too many” White areas left outside of the major cities that he intends to fill-up with new arrivals. It is stupid statemets like this that leads to mass protests and lost elections. ACW (20.8.2026)

‘Don’t rape, sexually assault or make kissing noises’ at people, asylum seekers warned in guidance about living in UK
UK arrivals have been told to treat women equally, not sexually assault partners or have sex with children in a new Home Office pamphlet. As well as the guidebook, a series of posters have also been designed by the government.
A guide for asylum seekers published by the Home Office has told them not to rape or sexually harass people, including partners and children.
The document tells people arriving in the UK after fleeing other countries that women are allowed to “earn their own money” and “make their own decisions about their lives”.
Men appear to be the primary target for the instructions, although there are also resources for asylum seekers who think they may be victims of illegal behaviour.

The guidance states that people are expected to not make sexual remarks about someone “even if you think it is a compliment”, whistle or make “kissing sounds” at someone, follow someone or “block their path”, make rude or offensive gestures, or “verbally abuse someone because of their gender, religion, or how they look”.
The guidance warns throughout that breaking the law can lead to trouble with law enforcement, lead to someone losing accommodation or support, and could affect an asylum claim.
People are warned it’s a serious crime to take or share sexual images without someone’s consent. As well as the guidebook, a series of posters have been designed by the Home Office to inform asylum seekers.
The guidance was published in a nine-page document titled “Understanding behaviours and expectations in the UK: A guide for asylum seekers”.
Sections include: gender equality, domestic abuse, sex and consent, and respect in public – as well as getting help and living in the UK.
Illegal migration and the visible issue of people crossing the Channel in small boats is a policy area the government is determined to look tough on, and these documents are understood to be part of a plan to ensure not knowing the law is not an excuse for illegal actions.
It has also been focused on by parties like the Conservatives and Reform UK, and there have been a series of high-profile criminal cases involving asylum seekers.
Conservative shadow home secretary Chris Philp said: “Instead of trying to train these mainly young, male illegal immigrants behave in a civilised way towards women, they should be deported.”
Some 101,000 people claimed asylum in the year ending December 2025, 4% less than the previous year, with around 46,000 detected arrivals coming to Britain via illegal routes, such as small boats or other clandestine routes.

END NOTE: Whilst posting the above article – the news story below appeared in my in-box. The problem is that there is so much migrant-crime that is just blatant violence. It seems that giving these individuals free money, housing, medical care, travel, and education, etc, violence still occurs:
Stanwell Hotel- Migrant charged after stabbing near Heathrow Airport

A welfare officer has been allegedly stabbed multiple times at an asylum hotel near Heathrow Airport.
The incident took place at the Stanwell Hotel in Stanwell, Surrey, at around 6.30pm on Saturday (August 15).
The victim, Aaron Gomes, was working at the hotel when he was allegedly slashed with a kitchen knife.
Abdifatah Adani, a 22-year-old Somali migrant who arrived in the UK by small boat, has been charged with attempted murder.
Prosecutor Lucy Lumsden told Staines Magistrates’ Court today (August 17): “The complainant, Aaron Gomes, was employed as a welfare officer at the asylum hotel.
“This defendant has stabbed him multiple times until Mr Gomes lost balance before managing to escape.
“Police attended and began giving Mr Gomes first aid.
“He had lost a significant amount of blood, was very pale and going in and out of consciousness.”
Mr Gomes sustained five knife wounds, two to his upper body and three to his leg.
One of the wounds to his upper body was described as ‘significant’ after the blade penetrated his chest cavity.
Surrey Police said Mr Gomes is now in a stable condition in hospital.
Adani appeared in court wearing a grey tracksuit and was assisted by a Somali interpreter.
He was remanded in custody to next appear at Guildford Crown Court on September 17.
