In its coverage of how the drought is effecting the River Danube – if focuses upon the WWII Nazi German shopwreks that are now visible due to the water-levels dropping drmatically. However, in a German-language newspaper (entitled “Die Zeit” – or “The Time” ) article entitled “Budapest: Niedrigwasser der Donau gibt Kriegstote frei” or “Budapest: Low Danube Water Levels Release War dead” (linked above) takes a very different tack. Hungary now has a far-right government that is very sympathetic toward Nazi Germany and its anti-Soviet cause. Hungary is also a Catholic country – with the Vatican fully supporting Hungary’s historical alliance with Hitler during WWII. Today, Hungary and Germany support Neo-Nazi Ukraine and are busy revising Hitler’s activities in the USSR. The Hungarian troops of WWII committed horrific War Crimes and Crimes Against Humanity whilst rampaging though the USSR.

Indeed, the Hungarian contributed considerably toward the 41 million (killed and wounded) casualties the Soviets suffered. When the Red Army pushed the Hitlerites out of the USSR – it entered Hungary and “Liberated” the people from fascism and handed the country over to the Hungarian Socialists. The Red Army lost hundreds of thousands of men and women whilst fighting its way through Hungary and beyond. Neither Sky News nor Die Zeit mention Soviet equipment or the remains of Soviet Red Army soldiers and other personnel. Instead, the Hungarian and German governments discuss how the bodies of “two” very “brave” Nazi German soldiers were found replete with ID tags – near a Nazi military motorcycle – which was lying on the river-bed of the Danube. Both countries have raised money to respectfully retrieve these bodies and bury them in a top-notch War Cemetery created by the contemporary Hungarians – so that Nazi German soldiers who died fighting the Soviets can be respectfully laid to rest within Hungarian soil.

What is particularly disturbing about this narrative is that it seldom gets reported in the UK – a place which excludes the Russians from attending WWII Memorials because modern Russia has dared to confront the US inspired Neo-Nazi Junta which is currently dictating in Ukraine! German soldiers should be laid to rest – but the eulogising of their cause is a disgusting and US-contrived distortion of history – a product of the collapse of the USSR and modern Russia’s supporting of capitalism. This is what happens when the bourgeoisie gains power and demonises the Socialist history of the working-class! Please be aware that half of Eastern Europe thinks that Nazi Germany was “good” and that the USSR was “bad”. Sunken Nazi warships emerge from the Danube as water levels drop to record lows

Water levels in the river Danube have fallen so low due to this summer’s dry weather in Europe that sunken Nazi warships are appearing into view.

Dozens of the Second World War German battleships, some still laden with weapons, have appeared in Serbia.

They belonged to Germany’s Black Sea fleet that the Nazis deliberately sank near the end of the conflict as Soviet forces advanced deeper into Europe.

In the middle of the river separating Serbia and Romania, near the Serbian port of Prahovo, a rusty hull is now visible, along with a broken mast where the Nazi flag once flew.

Historians say up to 200 German warships were scuttled in September 1944 near Prahovo in the Danube gorge as they came under Soviet fire.

Meanwhile, in Romania, authorities have been forced to start building a temporary dyke to divert water from the drought-hit river to its only operating nuclear power reactor.

And in neighbouring Hungary, the water level at the Paks nuclear plant fell to within a few millimetres of forcing a complete shutdown, the country’s prime minister, Peter Magyar, said.
