Blogger’s Note: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are all described as “Abrahamic” religions as they all trace their theological roots to the mythic Old Testament-Torah person named “Abraham” (an earlier prophet of the Hebrew God Yahweh). In reality, objective (material) history reveals that much of the Jewish teaching stems from the history and belief system of the non-Semitic Babylon (a place besmirched by the Jews in the “Tower of Babel” story). Indeed, as a distinct invention, Judaism dates to no earlier than 500 BCE – despite the myths and legends insisting it is much older (Zionist history is a deliberate misinterpretation of the material evidence). More to the point, there is zero evidence for the existence of Abraham and yet the millions who still adhere to these childish religious stories insist on killing one another as if he existed and what they choose to believe is literally true. Being “bor of a virgin” was something of a trope between 3000 BCE and 100 CE (a re-working of the calendar invented by Julius Caesar in 46 BCE. The figure of Jesus Christ is in good company and is far from being unique:
Horus (3000 BCE) – Born of a Virgin – Star in the East – Walked on Water – Healed the Sick – Restored Sight – Crucified – Dead for Three-Days – Resurrected
Mithra – (1,200 BCE) – Born of a Virgin – Born December 25th – Star in the East – 12 Disciples – Performed Miracles – Dead for Three-Days – Resurrected
Krishna – (900 BCE) – Born of a Virgin – Born December 25th (equivalent) – was a Travelling Teacher – Termed “Son of God (Vishnu)” – Born to a Carpenter – Resurrected
Dionysus – (500 BCE) – Born of a Virgin – Born December 25th – was a Travelling Teacher – Turned Water into Wine – termed “Holy Child”
There are many more “mix and match” inconvenient truths in the game and business of theistic religion. It is a great and evil threat to the existence of humanity and appears to be a by-product of the evolutionary process. As Jews have been filmed kicking, punching, and spitting on Christians visiting the Holy Land – it is astonishing the West still continues to arms and political protect the rogue State of Israel!
