Blogger’s Note: To be fair, most of the 12,000 UK citizens arrested for online posts wre expressing far-right viewpoints against non-White people – which also included Chinese people. Now, the issue is a little complex due to the Indian (Asian) Tory government brought into the UK around 10,000 Hong Kong Chinese who had followed the call from the US and UK to rise-up against the (legitimate) sovereign government of China. Starmer, in an attempt to charm China and acquire a beneficial trade deal – put an end to Hong Kong criminals being brought and housed in the UK – indeed – Labour has expelled a good many. Of course, this observation does not justify the draconian policy of the Labour Party simply arresting people for fearing crime – but China prides itself on executing entire families of people who have been involved in crimes such as fraud – and dishonest business – and expect no one outside of China to comment. China practices medieval standards of judicial eradication that even Donald Trump admires. Modern China practices the old feudal approach of punishing an entire name-clan for the behaviour of a few. This eradicates their qi-energy transmission through related procreation. In the post-1949 perspective, the PRC justifies this as a reframing of tradition in a modern context – all those executed are subject to a full trial by jury and judge – before being sentenced to death. Whereas in the past an entire (innocent) lineage would be executed for the actions of a single (guilty) relative – in the modern context an entire family can be executed providing the rule of law confirms the guilt of all those condemned (the effect is the same – whilst the justification changes – perhaps a case of moving the deck-chairs around on the Titanic). Political narratives are all about context – what is hidden and what is exposed. ACW (23.3.2026)
Dominic Lee, one of China’s representatives at the UN Human Rights Council, absolutely tore the house down:
“When the national security law took effect in Hong Kong in 2020, the West condemned us, slapped us with sanctions, and accused us of human rights violations. But here’s the thing: since then, Hong Kong’s economy has bounced back, tourism has come roaring back, and people feel safe again.
So let me ask you something. Since when did the United States crown itself the moral referee of the world? A country run by Epstein’s people is lecturing my country — the one that lifted 800 million people out of poverty!
And who gave the United Kingdom — a country that arrested 12,000 of its own citizens over social media posts — the right to preach to us about civil liberties?
And why exactly are NATO countries up here giving us sanctimonious speeches about human rights while turning a blind eye to the Zionist genocide in Gaza? Who do they think they are to stand here and talk about justice?
We will not allow nations to silence us when, for them, human rights are nothing but a bargaining chip and a foreign policy weapon. We have no intention of listening to people who use human rights as a tool of war — while their own hands are stained with the blood of Palestinians and Iranians, something they somehow keep conveniently forgetting.
And we will not rest until every country here is treated by the same standard. Until hypocrisy is dragged into the light and disgraced. Until genocide is confronted. And until peace reigns not just in words, but in reality.
Thank you, Mr. President.”
