Kim Jong Un Pays Respect to Killed Chinese People's Volunteers!

DPRK: Kim Jong Un Visits Cemetery for Fallen Soldiers of the Chinese People’s Volunteers – Marking 75th Anniversary of China’s Entry into Korean War! (1.11.2025)

Blogger’s Note: The DPRK, with the aid of the USSR (and the newly founded UN), was founded in 1948 – a year prior to the People’s Republic of China in October, 1949. The Soviet Red Army had liberated North Korea from Imperial Japanese Occupation – but US Forces deceptively invaded the South of Korea (attempting to create a conflict with the USSR) and assisted the Imperial Japanese regime there to become the South Korean State (also established in 1948). The Army of South Korea was in fact comprised of the regiments of the Imperial Japanese Army staffed by Korean recruits. Imperial Japan invaded and ruled Korea from 1910-1945 – forcing generations of ethnic Koreans to live as subordinates to Japanese oppression and brain-washing.

Many of these Imperial Japanese Army regiments comprised of Koreans committed atrocities in China and elsewhere in Asia between 1931-1945 (it was a similar situation with Imperial Japanese Army regiments from the island of Taiwan comprised of subjugated and brain-washed ethnic Chinese people). Ethnic Koreans were forced to attend universities within Mainland Japan and taught that they were second or third-class citizens of the Imperial Japanese Empire. Only the indigenous “Socialist” Korean movement assisted by the USSR represented the official Korean opposition to Japanese Imperialism.

After 1948 – this ethnic Korean movement was assisted by Socialist China. When the US caused the war of 1950-1953 – the USSR provided the Red Airforce to guard the skies over North Korea and Soviet Technicians to aid the mechanical development of the North Korean military. Meanwhile, Socialist China organised millions of “Chinese People Volunteers” (CPV) who comprised the Land Forces of the “Internationalist” effort to free North (and South) Korea from US domination. The fact that the CPV had very little modern or advanced military equipment – and yet still achieved significant victories – is remarkable. Through sheer will-power the CPV (together with the North Korean Forces) inflicted endless defeats and reversals upon the US (and UN) Forces.

Although the US provoked the war – the US manipulated the UN into blaming North Korea and China for the war – one of the great injustices of the so-called “Cold War” era. Indeed, estimates of Chinese deaths vary from 500,000 to 3 million – but this latter number might include the number of wounded – which must have been significant given the tactics used (that of massed infantry assaults). Whatever the case, Mao Anying – the son of Mao Zedong – was killed during the fighting – and buried in North Korea together with hundreds of thousands ethnic Chinese people! ACW (1.11.2025)

Pyongyang, October 25 (KCNA) — Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, visited the Cemetery of the Fallen Soldiers of the Chinese People’s Volunteers in Hoechang County, South Phyongan Province and paid a high tribute to them on Oct. 24 on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the entry of the CPV into the Korean front.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un was accompanied by Jo Yong Won, Pak Jong Chon and Kim Tok Hun, secretaries of the Central Committee of the WPK, and Choe Son Hui, foreign minister of the DPRK.

The guard of honour of the Korean People’s Army lined up at the cemetery.

The national anthems of the People’s Republic of China and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea were played.

A flower basket in the name of Kim Jong Un and the flower baskets in the names of the Central Committee of the WPK and the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK were laid before the cemetery.

Kim Jong Un paid a silent tribute in memory of the CPV fallen soldiers.

Then, he visited the grave of Mao Anying at the cemetery.

He placed a flower before the grave and paid homage.

The faces of the CPV fallen soldiers, who assisted the revolutionary war of our people at the cost of their blood with the spirit of internationalism and the feeling of fraternal friendship, remain deep in the hearts of the peoples of the two countries as a symbol of valuable DPRK-China friendship.

Our people will never forget the blood shed by the excellent sons and daughters of the Chinese people and their immortal feats even after a lapse of many years and the shift of generations.

The DPRK-China friendship forged at the cost of blood would powerfully demonstrate its inexhaustible vitality in the sacred struggle to realize the cause of independence against imperialism, the socialist cause, in the future, too. (End)
