Ban All Non-UK Flags!

Email: Contextualising Reform UK – Which Flag Do You Fly? (7.5.2025)

Dear Charles

As the introduction to the Twilight Show used to say – “Do Not Be Alarmered – Or Attempt to Adjust Your Television Set!” The UK is full of all kinds of weird and wonderful anachronism – which we all just accept as we go about our day. The great grandfather of a friend of mine fought in both WWI and WWII – and this is all he said on the matter: WWI = “Bloody Germans!” – WWII = “Oh God – Not Again!” And there you have it. Council Elections are a barometer as to how the general population is feeling about things – but expressed in a manner which is relatively harmless. In others words, the voters use these election as a “threat” as to what might or could happen if the traditional parties that run Parliament do not pull their fingers-out and do somerhing constructive.

Capitalism requires an endless supply of cheap labour – and as Unions and welfare systems tend to prevent workers from moving abroad – these things must be destroyed – along with local working-class culture (believe it or not – this is the main purpose of the EU – founded by the US in a post-1945 Western Europe). The rich lock themselves away in their gated communities in the UK – patrolled by “private” police. Nothing much changes for these people – whilst the country outside their idyllic compounds is torn to pieces. As a small island – the UK is feeling the pressure.

Towns and villages are being turned into barracks for young male workers from abroad. This process began with the dissolution of the USSR – which used to maintain half the world in a state of stability. Of course, Capitalism is the cause, foreign workers the symptom. Whereas the right attacks the symptom (the workers) – the left should attack the cause (capitalism) – but we live in interesting times where narratives are becoming blurred and confused. The bourgeois establishment is practicing the age-old policy of “divide and conquer”. Workers from different parts of the world are being placed in a small geographical area and forced to fight for an equally small number of jobs. The question becomes “How do we on the left walk this tightrope?” My Chinese children, for example, share a classroom with a number of Ukrainian children – who have openly disagreed with the teacher about Hitler (the Ukrainians think Hitler protected the White race) – and made racist comments to my two daughter (my two daughters are the problem – not themselves).

On the other hand, there is now a substantial population of Hong Kong rioters in our area. These people follow a Christian cult, are financed by the British State (as are the Ukrainians) and act like a dominant driving-force. For these people, the Chinese population already in the UK – originating from British-controlled Hong Kong – are to be excluded and pushed-out of mainstream participation in British affairs. Whilst the British taxpayer funds them – these rioters do not need to work and are insulated from the barrier that is racism. I hear that Starmer is not that keen on these people – but it is Trump who decides what happens in the UK – and when. One thing is for sure, these are not the Mainland Chinese who work for peanuts in the factories owned by Elon Musk!
