‘Proportionally to their numbers, very many more people were deported from the Western Ukraine than from the Baltic States. Cities like Lwow were hotbeds of the most extreme Ukrainian nationalism, fascism and anti-Semitism; and the Western Ukraine was by far the most pro-Nazi part of the Soviet Union to have been occupied by the Germans. For at least two years after the war a savage guerrilla war was waged by Ukrainian nationalists, with Nazi officers, against the Russians. In 1947 I had a long talk with a young Russian I knew who had been drafted into the NKVD troops who fought the Ukrainian guerrillas, as well as the Armija Krajowa Polish guerrillas on either side of the Polish/Ukrainian border. It was a very fierce business, and both sides had to be completely ruthless!’

The Nazi Germans were joined by numerous (often ‘Catholic’) countries during their 1941 invasion of the USSR. These Hitlerites would devastate a large area of West USSR (primarily the Ukraine) uncontested between 1941-1943 – before the Red Army would finally manage to oust these fiends. Even after the Red Army cleared East and Central Ukraine of the Nazi Germans (pushing forever onward toward Berlin at the behest of their Western Allies) – a large proportion of the West Ukrainians (inspired as they were by their ‘Catholic’ faith) carried on fighting under the leadership of non-surrendered Nazi German Officers! This battle – little known in the West – lasted from 1945-1947 and was fought by the Special Forces of the NKVD (People’s Commissariat for Internal Security). These young men and women of the NKVD were comprised of those who had academically excelled at their Marxist-Leninist studies, had attained extensive and advanced levels of physical fitness, and who were brave whilst embodying a spirit of self-sacrifice!
I know about these wonderful anti-fascist soldiers because Alexander Werth (the Russian-born British Journalist) was a personal friend with just one such individual! Indeed, Alexander Werth – who was in the USSR throughout much of the Great Patriotic War – recalled how his friend suffered from what we would now term ‘PTSD’ after 1947 – as the war against these Ukrainian fascists was brutal to say the least! The Catholic Church – whilst assisting thousands of Nazi War Criminals to escape Europe for South America – worked tirelessly to supply these Nazi-Sympathisers with money and arms. Winston Churchill – at the behest of the Pope – allowed 10,000 members of the Ukrainian SS to be airlifted to Scotland around 1946 (using the fake cover-story that they were ‘Polish’). Many of these Ukrainians had raped women, men and children (this SS Unit was renowned for its paedophilic crimes) and were placed within unsuspecting Celtic communities.
At one point in the fighting (during 1944), the Red Army reported that these Ukrainian Nazis had supply stashes comprised of British and US weaponry and ammunition. When this finding worked its way up to the attention of Comrade Joseph Stalin – the Marshall correctly judged that this might be the product of ‘captured’ Allied supplies re-directed by the Nazi Germans to their Ukrainian supporters. Afterall, Comrade Stalin logically opined – “The British and US are our Allies in the fight against Nazi Germany and the battle has not yet been won!” The point is that although WWII ended in 1945 – in many areas of the USSR the battle against the vestiges of fascism still continued without any Western assistance. Indeed, many in the West openly preferred fascism to Communism! The protection of Jews, Gypsies, the Disabled and Homosexuals, etc, was provided by the youth of the USSR post-WWII – a battle and sacrifice often omitted by the Holocaust Memorial Ceremonies happening across the world. Indeed, many Zionists, anti-Socialists and fascists like to exclude the Soviet sacrifice completely from the public record!
This is how the NKVD-friend of Alexander Werth describes his post-WWII experience:
‘I was too young to be called up before the end of the war, and it was quite new, and pretty horrible for me. We had to go on punitive expeditions, we lost a lot of people ourselves, and the most unpleasant thing of all, for me, was to stand some of these Poles and Ukrainians against the wall and shoot them. I knew that if we didn’t shoot them, they would shoot us; but, all the same, it was beastly. I had never shot anybody in my life, and had even hated killing chickens.’

Of course, many Jews in the USSR were loyal citizens and committed Socialists – as many are in the world in general. Indeed, many ordinary Jews reject the fascist ideology of Zionism and agree with the 1975 UN Resolution declaring this far-right (racist) ideology as being a version of ‘White Supremacy’. Moreover, many Jews throughout the world have applauded the (2024) International Court of Justice (ICJ) Interim Ruling declaring the actions of the government of Israel (and its Armed Forces) in Palestine to constitute ‘Genocide’. The Hamas prison-break of October 7th, 2024 resulted in the deaths of around 1,200 people – most killed by an IDF putting into practice the ‘Hannibal Directive’. In return, quite apart from the targeting of hospitals, schools, housing, Mosques, Red Cross Stations and UN Headquarters – the Zionists have murdered around 30,000 Palestinian men, women and children and wounded around 70,000! The Zionists have inflicted 100,000 casualties in a very short-time in return for 1,200 – many of whom the IDF killed!
The rise of the post-1948 (Zionist) fascism should be treated as a separate and distinct ‘genocide’ – to that committed by the Holocaust of WWII. Zionist (racist) terrorism existed prior to 1948 (which was used to murder British and Palestinian people) – but it was elevated to a State Power in 1948. Comrade Joseph Stalin was amongst the first of world leaders (during 1952) to observe that the State of Israel was perpetuating a racist ideology that threatened the peace and stability of the world (directing the USSR and the Communist Bloc to sever diplomatic relations). Although these relations were re-established following Stalin’s death – the USSR cut relations completely and entirely during 1967 following Israel’s massive land-grab. Indeed, these relations were not established again until after 1991- and Russia’s return to capitalism. Of course, the mainstream Jewish media in the West tends to align itself with the right-wing Press and criticise anyone who dares to expose the fascist nature of Zionism – whilst excising the Soviet contribution to Jewish safety from all the history books. Alexander Werth states:
‘Although there were many points in common between Eastern and Western Ukraine, which had formed part of Poland between the two wars (until 1918 it had been about half-Russian, half-Austro-Hungarian), above all their anti-Semitism, Eastern Ukraine had been Russian for centuries and for over twenty-five years Soviet, and was still very different from the Western Ukraine. Soviet indoctrination of a whole generation had after all considerably weakened the traditional Ukrainian anti-Semitism.’

Zionism, in its current form, is in the tradition of post-WWII Neo-Fascism, and reflects a distinctly ‘Jewish’ shift to the far-right that mirrors the 1956 Neo-Nazi Uprising in Hungary and the 1968 Uprising in Czechoslovakia. In all these incidences, the capitalist West has always given its support for these essentially ‘anti-Socialist’ movements (just as it has in contemporary Ukraine) with tens of thousands of these fascists migrants given citizenship, wealth and status! Just as Israel ‘deports’ Black Jews – the West rejects ‘Internationalism’ and the Socialism that inspires it. Yes – there is a point where mainstream ‘White Supremacy’ and Jewish ‘White Supremacy’ diverge – but this is to expected. Anti-Semitism must be uprooted, exposed and utterly destroyed – just as Zionist hatred for Palestinians, non-Jews and all non-White people must be uprooted and utterly destroyed! Jews must be protected from Neo-Nazism – just as Palestinians must be protected from Zionism! This is exactly the kind of task the Soviet NKVD performed – and all true Socialists must perform today!
