On the occasion of ‘Palestinian Prisoner’s Day’ (which falls on the 17th of April of each year) a Delegation from the Syrian Socialist National Party – Headed by Wahib Wehbe – came to Lebonan! Wahib Wehbe is personally responsible for the ‘Palestinian File’ Administered by the Syrian Socialist National Party. He was accompanied by his Secretary and Lawyer – Samah Mahdi! Together they visited the Office of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine currently situated in Mar Elias Camp, in Beirut – on Monday (17.4.2023). The Delegation was received by the Official of the Popular Front in Lebanon – Haitham Abdo – and a number of other important members of the leadership of the Lebanon Branch!
During the meeting, the Special Guests “Saluted” the prisoners of Palestine (past, present and future) who are killed, maimed, raped and tortured by the Zionists! The Syrian Socialists saluted the inner steadfastness and out strength exhibited in the face of the struggle against their Zionist (fascist) jailers! Our Syrian Guests demanded the International, Human Rights, Humanitarian and Legal Bodies to assist us in the release the sick prisoner – Walid Daqqa – and the male and female prisoners in all the (illegal) Occupation Prisons!
The two sides also reviewed the political situation in the region, especially the great challenges facing the Palestinian Cause in light of the massive legitimization of settlements, the blatant assault on male and female prisoners and the ongoing arrests of our people in Palestine!
The two sides also discussed a strategy to support the Palestinian Resistance and how to deal with the existential crisis that the Occupying (Zionist) Entity is currently suffering – noting that we are facing extensive transformations in the region!
The meeting pointed out that what happened recently (perpetuaed by the Palestinian Resistance) to the Zionist aggressors – is a victory for the entire Palestine People!
At the end of the meeting, the Syrian Socialists “Saluted” those stationed in Al-Aqsa Mosque on the occasion of International Al-Quds Day!

الشعبية في لبنان استقبلت وفدًا من الحزب القومي السوري الاجتماعي

لمناسبة يوم الأسير الفلسطيني الذي يصادف في 17 نيسان من كل عام، زار وفد من الحزب القومي السوري الاجتماعي، برئاسة مسؤول الملف الفلسطيني في الحزب القومي وهيب وهبي والأمين المحامي سماح مهدي، مكتب الجبهة الشعبية لتحرير فلسطين بمخيم مار إلياس، في بيروت، وذلك يوم الإثنين في 17-4-2023، وكان باستقبال الوفد مسؤول الجبهة الشعبية في لبنان هيثم عبده، وعدد من أعضاء قيادة فرع لبنان.
خلال اللقاء، وجه المجتمعون التحية للأسرى، والتحية لصمودهم ونضالهم في وجه السجان الصهيوني، وطالبوا الهيئات الدولية والحقوقية والإنسانية والقانونية بالإفراج عن الأسير المريض وليد دقة والأسرى والأسيرات في سجون الاحتلال كافة.
كما استعرض الجانبان الوضع السياسي في المنطقة، ولا سيما ما تتعرض له القضية الفلسطينية من تحديات كبيرة، في ظل شرعنة الاستيطان بشكل كبير، والاعتداء السافر على الأسرى والأسيرات، والاعتقالات المستمرة بحق أهلنا في فلسطين.
كما تطرق الجانبان إلى بحث استراتيجية لدعم المقاومة الفلسطينية، وتم بحث الأزمة الوجودية التي تعاني منها دولة الكيان المحتل، مشيرين إلى أننا أمام تحولات تشهدها المنطقة.
وأشار المجتمعون إلى أن ما حصل مؤخرًا من رد المقاومة على العدوان الصهيوني هو انتصار للمقاومة في فلسطين، وأكد الجانبان أن هناك إصرارًا على مواصلة المعركة جنبًا إلى جنب مع أبناء شعبنا في فلسطين، مؤكدين التضامن مع فلسطين وشعبها، و دعم المقاومة في فلسطين.
وفي ختام اللقاء، وجه المجتمعون التحية للمرابطين في المسجد الأقصى بمناسبة يوم القدس العالمي.
