This picture is huge and I have conveyed its size in the picture above. Joseph Stalin was perhaps the greatest working class leader whoever lived. He built the USSR – and protected it from Trotsky – after the 1924 death of Lenin. He initiated the 1936 Constitution of the USSR. He took on and beat Adolf Hitler – saving the world from fascism. He steered the USSR through the war years – and inspired the Soviet Space Effort. Following his 1953 death – he was betrayed by Khrushchev (and his followers) – who laid the foundations for Gorbachev and the 1991 collapse of the Soviet Union. Even today, there are brain-washed Russians who believe the lies of the US – and see Joseph Stalin as a “Tyrant” – despite the fact that he was continuously “elected” into office – with the people refusing to allow him to retire. A unique painting by Alexander Gerasimov will be shown at VDNH
Gerasimov’s painting, which was considered missing, will be presented at the new EXPO at the Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy (VDNKh),

Alexander Gerasimov’s canvas entitled “Speech of J.V. Stalin at a meeting of the II All-Union Congress of Collective Farmers-Shock Workers to Consider the Draft Charter of the Agricultural Artel”, was created in 1953, and will be presented at the EXPO Centre at te VDNKh – according to the VDNKh website.
The canvas measuring 6.75 by 11 metres depicts Delegates to the II All-Union Congress of Collective Farmers and Shock Workers of Labour, which took place from February 11 to 17, 1935. At that Congress, it was decided to create an All-Union Agricultural Exhibition in Moscow.
The Soviet artists Gerasimov, G. Gorelov, N. Denisovsky, N. Dryuchin, R. Zenkova and A. Papikyan all worked on the canvas.
Gerasimov’s canvas in disrepair was found in 2014 on the ground floor of Pavilion No1 “Central”.
During the restoration of the canvas, specialists removed dirt from the surface and strengthened the paint layer with a special glue.
Recall that on November 21, the exposition of the Tretyakov Gallery “#ТретьяковскаНаВДНХ” opened in Pavilion No1 “Central” at VDNH. It will last until September 2025 (in fact – has been on continuous display).

На ВДНХ покажут уникальную картину Александра Герасимова
Считавшуюся пропавшей картину Герасимова представят в новом ЭКСПО на ВДНХ

Полотно Александра Герасимова «Выступление И.В. Сталина на заседании II Всесоюзного съезда колхозников-ударников для рассмотрения проекта устава сельскохозяйственной артели», созданное в 1953 году, представят в центре ЭКСПО на ВДНХ, сообщается на сайте ВДНХ.
На полотне размером 6,75 на 11 метров изображены делегаты II Всесоюзного съезда колхозников и ударников труда, который проходил с 11 по 17 февраля 1935 года. На том съезде было принято решение создать в Москве Всесоюзную сельскохозяйственную выставку.
Вместе с Герасимовым над полотном трудились Г. Горелов, Н. Денисовский, Н. Дрючин, Р. Зенькова и А. Папикян.
Полотно Герасимова в аварийном состоянии нашли в 2014 году на цокольном этаже павильона №1 «Центральный».
Во время работ по восстановлению полотна специалисты удалили с поверхности загрязнения и укрепили красочный слой специальным клеем.
Напомним, 21 ноября в павильоне №1 «Центральный» на ВДНХ открылась экспозиция Третьяковской галереи «#ТретьяковскаНаВДНХ». Она продлится до сентября 2025 года.
