Blogger’s Note: With regards to “Socialist” news outlets – there are no advertisements for the capitalists – and no forced “clicks” that disguises “giving away your rights” for the myth of “enhanced choice”. By comparison, our children in the West must run a gauntlet of self-worth sapping choices – with each signing away what little dignity the reader had left when entering the page. Everything is up for grabs and for sale – and in the midst of this orgy – you might learn about a recent and interesting archaeological find – or in the case of the worst examples – you will remain none the wiser. Capitalist news is in fact a slew of adverts within which slithers of bias and not-to-clear news extracts are cleverly hidden. Every attempt to access greed-orientated news is an adventure – rather like accessing what is left of the UK’s NHS! Not so with the news from the DPRK, China, Laos, Vietnam, or Cuba. You can agree or disagree with the content (free thought) – or assess the news from these countries any way you please – but the act of Socialist education will not be sullied with capitalist greed. In the UK you can spend endless minutes clicking for the reward of new knowledge – only to be recycled through endless loops of more adverts – each promising that “knowing” is just around the corner. Well, it is not. The capitalists have designed a system that guarantees your consent to be further exploited – that’s all it is. Your rights are taken away as the “lie” of your rights being preserved is sold to you. Your clicks mean more money – but never for you but someone else – always hidden and unseen in the background. Regardless of what you may (or may not) think of the DPRK – you are at least getting the “news” with no other interceding barrier getting in the way. Yes – we’ve all heard the stories – but freedom of thought can be like this. A pinch of salt me thinks! ACW (1.6.2026)
