This anti-intellectual position is trumpeted by far-right supporters far and wide – whilst they simultaneously refer to all Chinese people as “ch’nks” who eat cats and dogs – whilst working children to death in sweatshops. The fascists see no contradiction in holding these views at the same time. George Galloway – a far-right Trotskyite – continuously makes anti-Chinese racist comments on his podcasts whilst simultaneously making much of the superficial diplomatic associations he has with the PRC. Below is a reply I received after enquiring to whether any of the ethnic Chinese people Galloway wheels-out are in fact “qualified” to speak officially on behalf of the PRC. ACW (29.9.2025)
Dear Comrade
These individuals you mention are either very low in the diplomatic structure – or no one knows who they are in the motherland. This is not the first time we have encountered this. There are numerous ethnic Chinese (usually young women) who have packaged themselves in the West as “Specialists” – who possess NO “Diplomatic Authority” to represent the PRC within groups of Western interest. These groups are almost always bourgeois in nature – and quite often racist in practice. As many Westerners lack even rudimentary Chinese language skills, and given that there is a substantial cultural divide between East and West – these Westerners (who empower such fake individuals) possess no means to effectively “check” the identity and confirm their supposed enhanced status. In this sense, Westerners are being misled or exploited.
Such ethnic Chinese acting like this in the West possess NO diplomatic authority or genuine ability to bridge all the divides that currently exist. Such dishonest individuals are following selfish motives. When we catch these people (they often think we do not know who they are) they are prosecuted and dealt with by China’s judicial system – and usually sentenced to 20-years hard-labour. One such young women lived a luxury lifestyle in London “pretending” to be some type of charity worker for a Western group officially representing the PRC. She would use her elderly mother (living in Guangdong) as a “reference” (Westerners would telephone and/or email – and would be provided with a set English-language “script”). This individual received a substantial salary and made decisions not in the best interest of ethnic Chinese people. Knowing the risks – this individual avoided travelling into (or through) sovereign Chinese territory – but oneday this individual did just this.
I can confirm that the female individuals you enquire about – related to a well-known White male individual who was recently “detained” in the UK – are NOT authorised diplomats (or representatives) of the PRC. This type of nonsense represents a deeper layer of Western misunderstanding and misrepresentation of the PRC. It is a new form of neo-imperialism against China – but one that involves modern ethnic Chinese actually participating for financial gain. China is a Marxist-Leninist State and is engaged in building Socialism (using Chinese characteristics). The PRC does not support Trotskyism, or any other form of Socialism (utopian or otherwise). Capitalism is the basis of ALL exploitation and disruptive behaviour. Leniency for those who conform – severity for those who resist!
