Egypt: Newton and the Pyramids
Whenever someone wants to make money out of Newton – they claim this or that about his work – as if the revelation is ‘new’. I was told (decades ago) that Newton spent the last years of his life (perhaps decades) trying to prove the Bible to be literally correct from a scientific perspective. Cambridge University has these unpublished manuscripts stored away – which are viewed as scientifically ’embarrassing’ – but historically interesting (Newton spanned two eras – between ‘spiritual imaginings’ and ‘material science’ – contributing considerably to the latter).
Egypt, of course, is mentioned in the Bible which falsely states that the supposedly enslaved ‘Jews’ built the Pyramids – when in fact there is no historical evidence for:
a) Judaism as a religion existing during the Pyramid-building times (a Zionist ‘myth’).
b) Ancient Egyptians ‘enslaved’ the Jews (a Zionist ‘myth’).
Ancient Egyptians never encountered the Jews because Judaism as a religion is not as old as its believers assume, etc, but we can see how Newton’s thought-processes were operating. He incorrectly believed that the Jews built the Pyramids – and that ‘God’ must have directed the Jews in this activity, and so on. Therefore, Newton (like many others) believed the Pyramids were the inspired machinations of a Judeo-Christian God! Either that or Cambridge University needs funds for a new Smoking Room – and the Dons decided to auction-off one of the Newton manuscripts currently held in their possession!
