Climate Change – Yes or No? (26.7.2023)

Weighing Both Sides is the Essence of Genuine Academia!

This is interesting:

1) WCIG – World Climate Declaration (2022)

There is no climate emergency

2) IPCC Sixth Assessment Report (2022)

Climate Change 2022: Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability

The first (1) academic declaration states that there is no discernable or unusual (unnatural) climate change occurring. The second (2) analysis states that sea levels have remained remarkably ‘stable’ over the last one-hundred years.

An interesting philosophical consideration is this:

a) The climate can only ‘survive’ –

b) If certain aspects of extant ‘human culture’ come to an ‘end’.

Is this a reasonable assumption and association?

For developing countries – this means giving-up any aspirations they might possess of becoming ‘like us’ – after we have emerged from industrially developing over the last 150-years. For ourselves, this means ‘giving-up’ any aspect of our familiar culture we might value, appreciate and which might define us.

Of course, as the mainstream is currently siding with the idea that climate change is happening (due to the industrialised process of the Western world) – the above two reports have received intense incoming fire. It is like watching two sides of a religion counter one another’s most earnest beliefs!

I think a confusion occurs with the Marxist-Leninist which ‘Left’ advocating ‘caring’ for the environment because it is the place we have evolved out of – and have developed into (through our labour and our intellect). The Russian Academy of Science states that climate change is a myth developed by the US as a means for it to retain hegrmony in the world and prevent former colonies and emerging countries from attaining any type of technological parody. This ensures that impoverished people always abandon their native countries to become cheap labour in the US (similar to how the EU ensures Eastern Europeans – impoverished after the Fall of Communism – always migrate to the West to form cheap labour).

China does seem to align itself with the climate change agenda – but this might only be rhetorical. Yes – China advocates looking after the environment – but this is not the same as the climate change agenda which seeks to destroy existential culture to achieve its end. China’s culture is ‘developing’ – but is not being simultaneously destroyed to justify a bourgeois (Western) notion. This is not the same as the current climate change battle – as this appears to be faith-based and involves a Judeo-Christian ‘guilt’ aimed at being ‘Western’ and ‘Industrialised’ – but it is a form of what looks like ‘self-hate’ – as it is entirely of our own making!
