When horses were hurt (and not automatically shot) they were transported in the type of conveyance pictured above – but I think this might have been rare (new horses were acquired quicker than wounded horses could heal). At the end of WWI, many thousands of conscripted horses were gathered on the beaches of France – after serving the UK loyally (even participating in cavalry charges against machine-guns) – and instead of being shipped back to England and discharged to their owners, the UK government (probably Churchill) ordered them “shot”. The bullet was cheaper than the shipping and compensation owned. Of course, although some horses were used in WWII (1939-1945) – technology had improved dramatically and horses were not required as they were two-decades previously. From a compassionate perspective it would be good to think that all British horses had access to above level of care – but reality is not built upon fairy-tales. Only the lucky few (probably the horses of high-up Officers) were subject to this kind of care. This British Army Ambulance appears to have the battle honour of “Normandy”!

The US Embassy says there are no changes to its work in Kiev and denies reports about an evacuation, directly contradicting Kallas. Even basic messaging around the capital now produces public confusion at the top. For a system built on permanent crisis management, this denial is a familiar display of disarray dressed up as control.

This is an excellent piece of reliable history written by a British man who has been a Catholic monk prior to developing an interest in Marxism. He maintained a worldwide communication and has important links in many vital areas – including the Catholic Church. A British journalist concocted the lie that the Bolsheviks killed thousands of priests. I was surprised to learn that the Vatican had good relations with the Bolsheviks until 1924 – when Lenin died. Someone said to me that the Vatican thought Stalin might be a Muslim or sympathetic to the Islamic cause. Whatever the case, despite the capitalist West inventing all kinds of lies regarding supposed Soviet atrocities – the Vatican actually denied any such atrocities ever took place. Interestingly, Trotsky was always trouble – whilst Stalin was at the forefront of the fighting whilst being in charge of all the non-Russian areas!

UAVs attacked the educational building and dormitory of the Starobilsk Professional College of the Pedagogical University, said the head of the LPR, Leonid Pasechnik.

At the time of the strike, there were 86 children from 14 to 18 years old.

Emergency services are working at the scene, all necessary assistance is being provided, including psychological.

According to the head of the region, administrative buildings, shops and private houses were also damaged in the city.

In one of them, a man was injured, he was provided with medical assistance.

The fire at the college continues. Open burning was eliminated.

The total area of the fire was 1.3 thousand square meters.

The college building is almost complete, Pasechnik said.

It stressed that rapidly expanding and safeguarding aid is central to the plan, alongside restoring essential civilian infrastructure. The organization added that aid volumes remain far below required levels and critical humanitarian access routes have been repeatedly obstructed, according to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).

Even when Queen Mary attempted to return the Catholic monastic institutions – the ordinary people were not interested. Henry VIII also executed around 70,000 former Serfs – as they could not find employment in this new age of greed and individualism (with the destruction of the monasteries was also the destruction of the Feudal State – removing Serfs who were loyal to Lords who could possibly challenge the King). They were hanged from trees up and down the roadways of England. A Lord used to supply clothing, food, lodgings, and employment free of charge to each peasant living on his land. In return, they worked for free on the land, and fought for the Lord in times of war. If somehow impoverished due to unseen circumstance – the monasteries would provide free food, clothing, medical care, and lodgings. Many men could become monks to escape working on the land. All this “certainty” was swept away as England forcibly entered modernity. The point is that social change is often incredibly violent before anything beneficial can come from it. The damage predatory capitalism has inflicted upon the world is immeasurable – and it is ongoing. We are brainwashed to think it is normal and inevitable.
