Poison Dispensed from Vending Machines!

Chinese Embassy Issues Safety Advisory After Indiscriminate [Food] Killings in Japan! (21.4.2025)

Blogger’s Note: There has been a number of “poisoning” campaigns in Japan during the modern (post-1945) period. The earliest example of poisoning seems to be the 1948 “Teigin Incident” – where an assailant entered a bank disguised as a Public health Official and forced the staff to take a vaccine (actually poison) designed to combat a dysentery outbreak (typical during the poverty and destruction immediately following the war) – killing 12 victims. (A year later, in 1949, the train-related “Mitaka incident” killed 6 and injured another 20, the “Matsukawa Derailment” killed 3, and the “Shimoyama Incident” killed 1). During the Summer of 1985, there were the infamous “Vending Machine [Paraquat] Murders” that killed at least 12 and injured a further 22 victims). In 1977, the so-called “Coca-Cola Poisonings” occurred in Tokyo – whereby seven different incidents killed and injured a small number of people. There has also been many hideous and vindictive murders in Japan after WWII. All these crimes, I believe, are (or were) motivated in one way or another, by the right-wing and far-right against the popularity of the rising Communist Movement in Japan – after Imperial Japan was defeated in 1945. Indeed, so many Communists were being elected to the Japanese Parliament that the Occupying US Authorities panicked and changed their draconian regime to one of Japan becoming a “most favoured nation status”. A health system delivered free at the point of use (copying the USSR and UK), and billions of dollars were diverted to re-build Japan in America’s model. Today, modern (capitalist) Japan is a successful US colony that continuously agitates against China. Remember, the CIA would use the idea of right-wing “terror” as the founding ideology of Islamo-fascism and to combat the spread of Socialism in Afghanistan – and later to fill the post-Soviet space. (ECNS) — The Chinese Embassy in Japan issued a notice on Thursday, reminding Chinese nationals to pay attention to personal security as well as food hygiene and safety.

There has been a rising trend of violent crimes in Japan, the Embassy cited Japanese media reports as saying.

Indiscriminate killings have occurred in multiple locations across Japan since December 2024, including Kitakyushu City in Fukuoka Prefecture, Nagano City in Nagano Prefecture, and Gifu City in Gifu Prefecture, resulting in casualties among innocent citizens.

In the past two weeks, murders targeting young women have taken place in Ichinomiya City in Aichi Prefecture, Shinjuku Ward in Tokyo, and Saitama City in Saitama Prefecture. Additionally, cases of theft, robbery, stalking, and telecom fraud have been frequently reported, with several Chinese citizens falling victim.

Meanwhile, mass food hygiene and safety incidents have plagued multiple Japanese cities. For example, people were infected with the norovirus after dining at certain restaurants and developed symptoms including diarrhoea, fever, and vomiting, with some severe cases resulting in death.

Japanese research institutions reported that the number of infectious gastroenteritis cases caused by the norovirus and other pathogens has reached its highest level in a decade for the same period.

The Embassy has urged Chinese citizens to enhance safety awareness, maintain food hygiene, and make thorough preparations before traveling to Japan. In case of emergencies like security threats, they should immediately report to local Japanese police and contact the Chinese Embassy and Consulates in Japan or the Global Emergency Call Center for Consular Protection and Services of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for help.
