Author’s Note: Mumsnet is a typical right-wing [White] (middle-class) advertising platform that opposes any form of left-wing progression. This is easy to see – as those greedy individuals who administer Mumsnet – alter the “allowed posting content” parameters – so as to best represent the greatest possible volume of advertising that can be achieved (and sustained) throughout the platform. Mumsnet has become, over the years, a rabid anti-Trans mouthpiece. Of course, it is not just Trans Rights the platform opposes – but rather any leftist Group Rights initiative. As for the so-called “Supreme Court ruling” in the UK – cool heads must prevail. Tony Blair, in his drive to transition the UK into a US State – changed the proper and correct English term of “Law Lords” – into that of its distorted American cousin, falsely renaming our ancient British institution as the anti-intellectual “Supreme Court” (it is NOT a “Supreme” anything – for reasons too numerous to list here) – making the British judicial system seem like something out of Dr Who (as if appealing to the “Supreme Dalek” for arbitration). This is the situation if the judgement is read carefully. NO law has been changed – and NO law has been passed.
There is NO new legislation to be placed on the statute books. This judgement is a “clarification” of the law that currently exists. There has never been a change in law that either removed the biological definition of “gender” – or added a clause that lawfully (and legally) altered the reading of the current UK law, so as to imply that the act of “sexual transitioning” constitutes, in and of itself, a “change” in gender identity issued at birth. As the Judge made clear, there has been NO change to the current UK law protecting Trans people. In other words, nothing has substantively changed. What, then, is causing all the controversy? To put it simply, neither side in the argument seems to understand the law – with both making assumptions that are not true. The anti-Trans movement mistakenly thinks Trans-ism has been outlawed – whilst the pro-Trans lobby believes something tangible has been taken away from them. The truth is that the pro-Trans lobby never achieved a change in the law as it stands. What the pro-Trans lobby achieved was a voluntary alteration of the reading of the current law – so that its limitations were interpreted throughout society in a certain (flexible) manner. There may have been an “approximation” of parity between the existing law – and the intended changes the Trans movement wished to make (a “high water-mark” in the Trans anti-capitalist offensive).
In other words, there was a change in “convention” (de facto) throughout society – but not in actual law (de jure). This is not to say that no damage has been done, on the contrary, the Trans offensive has been halted, (perhaps temporarily), and those regressive forces that exist throughout society will no doubt seize upon this opportunity to apply discriminatory practices – using the force of law as justification. When coupled with President Trump’s fascist announcement that only two genders exist – it is obvious the Trans movement is under pressure from several fronts. Having made an effort to study the Trans movement, I now understand that as an anti-capitalist and pro-Socialist movement, it has to be attacked, ridiculed, misrepresented, and demonised in the public perception. Vital to this negative propaganda dtrive is that the broader working class must not, in anyway, be allowed to symaphise with, (or develop solidarity through) – the Trans movement. Trans-ism is a threat to the capitalist (bourgeois) status quo, and as such, must be misrepresented as perverse, anti-scientific, and dangerous to the very working class masses it has emerged from.
Important to this suppression is the activity of the political far-right (many members of which are genuine sexual perverts and criminal offenders – with nothing to do with the Trans movement) – which keeps up a withering sniper-fire upon the flanks of the Trans movement. Any attempt to overthrow the capitalist system is falsely portrayed as being the product of mental illness and behavioural degeneracy. The sudden and powerful presence of the of Trans community has caught the bourgeois (Cis status quo) off balance – but the way it has responded to Trans-ism is exactly the same as the way it misrepresents the history of the USSR, China, Vietnam, Cuba, Laos, and North Korea, etc. Just as the Cis status quo (the bourgeois capitalists) falsely refers to every great Communist leader as “being like Hitler”, every Trans person is presented as a being “mentality ill” – and a “sexual pervert”. There you have it.
Bourgeois (Cis) gatekeeping demands the demonisation of those who see through the ideology of predatory capitalism – and who strives to overthrow its oppressive institutions. It is a basic propaganda tool deployed in the time of mass communication and draconian punishment regimes employed by the State. The Internet was once about unlimited free communication – but is now a pay-walled mechanism of blatant advertising and commercial self-interest. Free thought, particularly originating from the left, is now “illegal” – on the grounds that such thought forms could lead to the overthrow of predatory capitalism. Far-right thought forms are preferred – but are highly regulated. The far-right is used to control and misdirect the working class down the path of ideological dead ends. It is enough that “they hate the Trannies”!
