Of course, people can be born disabled, develop a disability (through illness or injury) during their lifetime, which includes wounds suffered during wartime (particularly during the recent anti-fascist war in East Ukraine). My British grandfathers (and my Chinese relatives in Hong Kong) all fought during WWII against Nazism and fascism as allies of the Soviet Union – and I will never accept or tolerate fascism of any kind – which includes Russophobia.
