I have linked an Al Jazeera article to the above video footage – not because I support Qatar (far from it) – but because as a nation we require a diverse base of opinion if the concept of philosophy is to function correctly. The videos included in this post depict a far-right political agitation that occurred outside a local mosque in the Southport area. Thousands of people who identify as “White” took to the streets to threaten a place of worship, threaten the lives of Muslims, destroy private and public property – and endanger the lives of Police Constables. The political far-right and White “Nationalist” movement has used social media to rage a very successful disinformation campaign around a fake sense of racialised “unity”. The working class thugs chanting “Allah, Allah – Who the Hell is Allah?” – and revelling in the name of the now on the run “Tommy Robinson” – would have very little to do with the milieu of the parents of the slain and wounded children. Furthermore, if these three children were British-born Chinese, Indian or West Indian – these hordes of White thugs would be staying at home watching pornography and arranging for the latest dog-fighting competition such degenerates marvel in most of the time!
Meanwhile, the disinformation from the far-right – which may well involve a pro-Zionist input – states that the perpetrator of this terrible crime is a Muslim from a) Jordan, b) Palestine, and c) Jordan-Palestine! On the other hand, another version of this story states that the murderer is a Rwandan Refugee. Yet another variant asserts that his parents are from Rwanda – and that he was born in Cardiff – the capital city of Wales. As for the mainstream media – the only data released into the public domain is that the killer was born in Cardiff – and is British! The incumbent Labour Party is refusing to add to this description – an decision which is only fuelling the flames – by suggesting that the nation should focus on recovering rather than revenge! Of course, all this is coming hot on the heels of the Romany Riots in Leeds – and the Bangladeshi Uprisings in London – both of which involved ethnic minorities attacking poorly-equipped Police Constables! The far-right is taking advantage of this unrest and is attempting to replace “class” (Marx) with “race” (Hitler) as the dominant characteristic which defines reality and explains phenomena. Thuggery and poor education are the only characteristics that unite the far-right the world-over. White racism is dangerous – but it is not decisive. Marxist-Leninism has beaten it before – and it will beat it again! What should happen now is that the Police will quietly analyse the film footage and identify all the thugs who attended the riots whilst not wearing masks – no doubt an ongoing far-right resistance to the Covid-19 Pandemic and symbolic of the anti-intellectualism that has gripped the fascist movement in recent years!
