British Inspired Massacres!

Indonesia “Too Close” to China – British Government Incited an Anti-Chinese Massacre! (26.5.2024)

Translator’s Note: The British “Guardian” newspaper used to be a liberal-left form of print media that gave a reasonably impartial impression of China to its Westerner readers. For at least the last 15-years this has not been the case, as the “Guardian” is now a right-wing (Trotskyite) piece of Eurocentric trash – a mouthpiece of US anti-China racism and anti-intellectualism – always striving to misrepresent China and deliberately presenting false, racist, demeaning and negative views about China to its readership. Obviously, I stopped reading its propaganda years ago – but every so often the sheer weight of British colonial history (which drips in the blood of its victims) – must be told truthfully – even by those White people who glorify in the deaths of non-Whites! This is what the Guardian is doing in the following article. Today, (2024) the Guardian has published an article suggesting that China is deliberately removing “Arabic” architecture from Mosques in China and replacing these structures with historically “Chinese” designs – a pathetic falsehood that is designed (like its 1960s British equivalent) – to generate hatred and violence between Chinese and non-Chinese people (no doubt a Zionist attempt to drive a wedge between China and the beleaguered Palestinian people). Such is the hypocrisy “drip drip” nature of a right-wing, capitalist-supporting Trotskyism! Learn from it and combat it with a continuous counter-exposure! ACW (26.5.2024)

This article is reproduced from [Global Times New Media]; According to the British “Guardian” report on the 23rd January 2022, “Declassified” documents have revealed Britain’s role in one of the most brutal post-war massacres of the 20th century, and some shocking new details have emerged.

The latest documents released by the British National Archives show that experts from the British Foreign Office sent hundreds of inflammatory pamphlets to the leaders of Indonesia’s anti-communist movement, Instigating them to kill the then Foreign Minister Subandriyo – whilst promoting violence against all ethnic Chinese Indonesians on the grounds that “They deserve it!”

The Anti-Chinese Massacre in Indonesia from 1965 to 1966 killed at least 500,000 people and was one of the worst massacres in the 20th century. The Guardian pointed out that at that time, Britain hoped that the Indonesian Army and Militia would overthrow the government of the country’s democratically elected President Sukarno because it believed that he and then Foreign Minister Subandriyo were “too close” to China.

According to reports, a military coup occurred in Indonesia in 1965. Suharto, the Commander of the Indonesian Army Strategic Reserve Force who was leaning towards the West, immediately took control of the Indonesian Army and launched anti-Chinese massacres across the country. Over the next few months, Suharto replaced the ailing Sukarno. He became Acting President in 1967 and was appointed President the following year. After Suharto officially took office as President, he received the support of the United States and implemented a dictatorship in Indonesia for more than 20 years until he stepped down in 1998.

Last October (2021), the British “Observer” revealed how British officials secretly deployed black propaganda in the 1960s to incite prominent Indonesians to “remove” the so-called “communist cancer.” In fact, the propaganda material was written by British Foreign Office “Psychological Warfare” experts in a cozy cabin in Singapore, working with MI6. But for more than fifty years, the British Foreign Office has denied any involvement in the anti-Chinese massacre.

Soe Tjen Marching is a lecturer at the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London. Her father was persecuted and imprisoned by the Indonesian military. She said that the actions against the Chinese in 1965 “led to a large extent to generating lethal levels of suspicion and discrimination between Chinese and non-Chinese Indonesians. Therefore, the British government urgently needs to apologize.”

Tabor’s Steve Alston said his organization was “appalled that the UK government is involved in a disinformation campaign that incites violence”. Tabor is an NGO that monitors Human Rights issues in Indonesia. Alston said: “Faced with this evidence, the UK government must now commit to launching an investigation by an independent prosecutor and completing it within 18 months.”
