Our youngest daughter – Kai-Lin (aged 7) – has designed, constructed and finished this “Chinese New Year” card for this year (2024)! This is the Year of the (Wood – Green) Dragon! Kai-Lin has sat down with pen, pemcil and paper and produced this wonderful artefact! Of course, Kai-Lin has produced this card also in the name of her older sister – Mei-An (aged 11) – hence the attribution at the end. Chinese New Year falls upon February 10th, 2024.
The traditional Year in China actually stands at “4722” at the moment since the passing of the Yellow Emperor – who is believed to have ruled Central China for at least one-hundred years! The Yellow Emperor invented medicine, clothing, housing, medicine, philosophy and hunting, etc, including divination and acting in accordance with the “Way” (Dao) of nature.
