Human Rights Groups “Concerned” Over Extension of Mainland Driving Standards to Hong Kong! (8.6.2023)

Blogger’s Note: Human Rights Groups in the West contest that 90% of ALL road accidents across the world either directly involve a Chinese person – or are watched “online” by a person of Chinese ethnic decent (possessing one or more ethnic Chinese parents). A spokesperson for these Human Right Groups contested, “We are very concerned by this threat from the Mainland government! Beijing is acting like Hong Kong is an integral part of China and that it possesses the right to align the cultures of the two places! The extension of Mainland driving standards to Hong Kong is a violation of every known international agreement designed to protect individuals from the excesses of governments!” ACW (8.6.2023)

Hong Kong driving schools plan to offer mainland traffic law courses as HK drivers apply to visit Guangdong via bridge

Hong Kong citizens came to consult on how to get a mainland driver’s license and learn mainland traffic laws in a driving school on Thursday since Hong Kong residents will be allowed to use their eligible vehicles to travel between Hong Kong and Guangdong via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge starting July 1.

According to the official website of the Transport Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government, a total of 1,600 Hong Kong private car owners have been selected to become the first applicants of the Northbound Travel for Hong Kong Vehicles program.

The 1,600 applicants were selected through “computer ballot” from 16,400 hopefuls.

The Hong Kong government estimated that over 450,000 car owners and passengers will ultimately benefit from the program.
