On the Eternal Land Day: With Unity and Struggle We Protect our Land and our People!

Our Steadfast and Struggling Palestinian People:

It has been 46 years since our people decreed the 30th of March as a focus for defending the land – whilst confronting the military and political operations designed to uproot us from it! On this day – what remained of Palestine stoically withstood the tidal wave of Zionist aggression – offering martyrs, blood and action in the face of the Zionist attack! May all of Palestines unite with this great effort throughout our land and throughout the diaspora of our people – announcing this day as an oasis of struggle in which our people will stand strong in the face of the Zionist aggression!

It has been more than a hundred years since the beginning of the Zionist colonial invasion of our country, during which time the major colonial powers have continued to provide support to the Zionist invaders – encouraging and concealing their continuous and many crimes, bypassing international law, customs and decisions, and protecting Zionist War Criminals from due international prosecution! The forces of colonialism, domination and aggression actually increased their support to the invaders the worse their crimes became! This policy of supporting Zionist aggression against the very living force of our people included the imposing of a geographical and political blockade, the pursuing of boycott campaigns and the persecution and oppression of any external support for the just cause of the Palestinian people who struggle to fight in defense of their rights! This support of Zionism has been designed to liquidate the Palestinian people and their cause!

Heroes of Palestine in the Arena of Confrontation:

The Zionist enemy has benefited from imperial protection and international inaction, and from the weakness of the Arab official position – which has deteriorated towards normalization and alliance with the Zionist aggressor! This is a policy that allows the Zionist aggressors to escalate its attack on us and to liquidate what remains of our presence in our land and in the occupied West Bank! The Zionists have announced their intention to annex most of our land – including Jerusalem – which is being converted to exclusive Jewish usage! The occupied interior is exposed to the crimes of this Zionist aggression including the confiscation of our land from its Palestinian owners in favour of the settler invaders – using the policies of ethnic cleansing to achieve the obliteration of our identity! Indeed, the Zionists have announced the formation of a new gang of racist terrorists – this time under the name of the ‘National Guard’! This entity is used to escalate Zionist crimes and attacks against our people – and has already claimed more than 300 martyrs in less than a year – whilst causing hundreds of wounded and taking endless numbers of prisoners!

Facing this escalating aggression has now made unity and resistance equal duties in order to preserve Palestinian existence – and not only the necessary conditions for achieving victory over the Zionist invaders! As such this objective requires the movement of fighters among our people (of all affiliations) to strengthen unity in the field and the strength of the self-defence struggle in the face of Zionist aggression! There must be an escalation of Resistance activity in all its forms against the Zionist enemy – premised upon the principle of political unity – ‘reflecting’ a unified political strategy designed to resist and defeat this aggression!

The success of this action requires the forces of our people outside the occupied homeland – as well as the solidarity movements and the forces friendly to the Palestinian people – to step up their pressure on the Zionist enemy and its sponsors, and to strengthen their activities to boycott and isolate the Zionist aggressors! We must also prosecute the Zionist War Criminals in the Courts – as well as raise the level of expression of clear support for the rights of our people, their liberation struggle and their defense of their home land!

Our free people are committed to defending their own land and their own existence – continuing the era of Martyrs of the Eternal Land Day – and remembering (with the greatest respect) the long ranks of Palestinian martyrs who died in defense our land, our people and our identity!

Long live the Steadfastness of our People on the Eternal Land Day!

بيانٌ صادرٌ من الجبهة الشعبيّة لتحرير فلسطين

في يوم الأرض الخالد: بالوحدةِ والكفاحِ نحمي أرضنا وشعبنا

شعبَنا الفلسطيني الصامد المكافح:

بعد ٤٦ عامًا على تخليد شعبنا الثلاثين من آذار عنوانًا للدفاع عن الأرض، والتصدّي لمشاريع اقتلاعنا منها، يوم صمدت البقيّة الباقية من فلسطين، وقدّمت الشهداء والدم والفعل في وجه الهجمة الصهيونيّة؛ لتلتحم معها كلُّ فلسطين، على امتداد الأرض، وعلى امتداد شتات شعبنا، معلنةً هذا اليوم محطّةً نضاليّةً يقف فيها شعبنا في وجه المشروع الصهيوني، ما زال شعبنا يقف في هذه الأرض متمسّكًا بكلّ حبّة ترابٍ منها، يقاتلُ ويناضلُ دفاعًا عنها بكلّ أدوات الفعل النضالي وأشكاله.

أكثر من مئة عامٍ على بدء الغزو الصهيوني الاستعماري لبلادنا، استمرّت فيها القوى الاستعماريّة الكبرى في تقديم الدعم للغزاة الصهاينة، والتغطية السياسيّة الكاملة لجرائمهم، وتجاوز القوانين والأعراف والقرارات الدوليّة، وحماية مجرمي الحرب الصهاينة من الملاحقة الدوليّة الواجبة، بل وقد صعدت قوى الاستعمار والهيمنة والعدوان دعمها للغزاة وعدوانها على شعبنا وقواه الحية، بفرض الحصار الجغرافي والسياسي، وملاحقة حملات المقاطعة والدعم لنضال الشعب الفلسطيني دفاعًا عن حقوقه وقضيّته، في إطار سعيها لتصفيّة القضيّة الفلسطينيّة.

يا أبطالَ فلسطين في ساحات المواجهة:

لقد استفاد  العدو الصهيوني من الغطاء الإمبريالي والتقاعس الدولي، ومن ضعف الموقف الرسمي العربي الذي تردى تجاه التطبيع والتحالف مع الكيان الصهيوني، ليصعد هجمته لتصفية ما تبقى من وجودنا في أرضنا، في الضفة المحتلّة التي يعلن نيته ضمَّ معظم أجزائها، والقدس التي يمضي في خطواته لتهويدها، والداخل المحتل الذي يتعرض لجرائم العدوان، ومصادرة الأرض من أصحابها الفلسطينيين لمصلحة الغزاة المستوطنين، وسياسات الأسرلة، وطمس الهُويّة، وها هو يعلنُ عن تشكيل عصابةٍ جديدةٍ من عصابات الإرهاب، تحت مسمّى الحرس الوطني، ليستخدمها في تصعيد جرائمه وهجماته ضد شعبنا، التي راح ضحيتها أكثر من ٣٠٠ شهيد خلال أقلّ من عامٍ مضى، ومئات من الجرحى والأسرى.

إن مواجهة هذا العدوان المتصاعد، باتت تجعل الوحدة والمقاومة واجبات لأجل الحفاظ على الوجود الفلسطيني، وليس فقط شروطًا ضروريّةً لتحقيق الانتصار على الغزاة الصهاينة، وهو ما يتطلب مُضيّ المناضلين من أبناء شعبنا على اختلاف انتماءاتهم، لتعزيز وحدتهم الميدانيّة والنضاليّة في مواجهة الهجمة الصهيونيّة، وتصعيد فعل المقاومة بأشكالها كافةً، ضدّ العدوّ الصهيوني، وهو ما يجب أن تعكسه أيضًا الوحدة السياسيّة ضمن استراتيجيّةٍ سياسيّةٍ موحّدةٍ لمقاومة هذا العدوان وهزيمته.

ويتطلب من قوى شعبنا خارج الوطن المحتل، وحركات التضامن والقوى الصديقة للشعب الفلسطيني، أن تُصعّد ضغطها على العدو الصهيوني ورعاته، وتعزّز نشاطها لمقاطعة الكيان الصهيوني وعزله، وملاحقة مجرمي الحرب الصهاينة أمام المحاكم، وأيضًا رفع مستوى التعبير عن الدعم الواضح لحقوق شعبنا ونضاله التحرّري ودفاعه عن وجوده فوق أرضه.

إنّ شعبنا الحرّ متمسّكٌ بالدفاع عن أرضه ووجوده، ماضٍ على عهد شهداء يوم الأرض الخالد، والقافلة الطويلة من شهداء شعبنا الذين قضوا دفاعًا عن الأرض والشعب والهُويّة، فالانتصارُ والحريّة والاستقلال هي أهداف مسار النضال والكفاح الذي شقّه شعبنا وماضٍ فيه.
