Blogger’s Note: When young, human-beings have a lot to contend with. Learning is an ongoing process and the Judeo-Christian system we live-in is fairly unforgiving. Add to this the highly exploitative (bourgeois) system and its bias and distortion – which it can enforce due to its control of the means of production – and it is remarkable that humans survive this process. I once knew a young man who said he was a “Kurd” around 1990 – and who supported the overthrow of Socialist Iraq. He was also antagonistic to the the Turks. He claimed to be a leftist but something was not quite right. Anyway, I lost contact with him after only a relatively short association – which was probably a good thing. Around 1995 I visited Turkey and was told the Kurds were right-wing terrorists (Trotskyites pretending to be leftwing – but really supporting US capitalism) and that I should have nothing to do with them (this got me researching – and I realised the “PKK” always supported the capitalist West and the destruction of any indigenous Arab or Persian regime if it did not align with Kurdish nationalistic demands). At the same time, I also encountered East Asians (Indians) living in Turkey who were pretending to be “Uyghurs” – running “Chinese Restaurants” (that sold Turkish kebabs and German beer). Local Turks told us the government was behind this charade (the US at the time had switched from accusing China of Human Rights violations in Tibet – to doing the same in Xinjiang). This policy continues today – as can be seen through the antics of the Kurdish-racist (former NBA player) “Enes Kanter” (this homophobe accuses China of oppressing the Uyghurs – and Turkey of oppressing the Kurds, etc). Meanwhile, on China’s border, a BJP-India continues a decades-old policy of “pretending” it owns territory its military could never occupy, hold, or gain – and it does this by laughingly giving these areas “Indian-sounding” names on maps (the adult equivalent of a baby “self-soothing” by sucking a thumb). In one way or another, the youth need to develop a robust self-reliance that is both flexible enough to evolve – whilst also being firm enough not to be dislodged from a correct ideological trajectory. There must also be the capacity to learn from mistakes and recover from external blows. Perhaps easier said than done – but necessary nonetheless. ACW (11.8.2026)

(ECNS) — More than 8,200 suspects have been arrested and over 1,000 criminal groups dismantled in a recent coordinated police operation across China, the Ministry of Public Security said Monday.
(ECNS) — More than 8,200 suspects have been arrested and over 1,000 criminal groups dismantled in a recent coordinated police operation across China, the Ministry of Public Security said Monday.
More than 5,400 criminal cases were solved during the campaign, according to the ministry.
The ministry said predatory online lending, coercive debt collection, extortion through malicious complaints, forced consumption and cyberbullying have emerged as new forms of organized crime.
Police will continue to crack down on both traditional and emerging forms of organized crime, the ministry said.
