The Maltese Cross was originally an exclusive Christian symbol possessing eight-points – characterized by four “V” – or arrowhead shaped arms – which converge at a central point. As a symbol, this cross refers to “healing”, “helping” and “protecting”. It is a heraldic symbol, historically associated with the Knights Hospitaller (also known as the Knights of Malta) which were developed during the (controversial) Crusades. The Knights Hospitaller were tasked with militarily protecting (and caring for) Christian pilgrims travelling to (and from) the captured Holy Lands (Palestine). Today, this cross has become a widely recognized secular symbol representing the impartial and compassionate application of First Aid, Healthcare, and Humanitarian Assistance to whomever requires it. My partner, Gee Wyles (nee Yau) is a professional NHS Midwife serving the British public in the London area. Her family are British-Chinese from the former colony (and later “Protectorate”) of Hong Kong and the New Territories. Gee, however, was born not in Hong Kong – but in London. She considers herself “British”, “Engliah”, “Chinese” and a “Londoner”! During the 2020-2021 Global Covid-19 Panemic – Gee worked on the NHS frontline throughout (delivery babies and looking after very scared women) – whilst colleagues and patients perished from this terrible disease. As the then Tory government would not provide NHS staff with cotton masks – our shocked friends in China organised a box of hundreds of masks to be sent to us.
The box was strapped to the seat of an empty jumbo-jet sent by the PRC to evacuate all Chinese Nationals that the Tories (and other racists) falsely accused of spreading the disease. I believe around 800,000 Chinese people were forcibly expelled from the UK just by the power of racism and far-right disinformation. Even today, these morons continue to play-down the deadliness of Covid-19, continue to agitate against all non-White people, and claim people like Gee are not “British”! How dare these fat, beer-swilling, Zionist-supporting degenerates (who live-off Benefits) – say these sort of things – and be allowed to get away with it by the British State and media!
Whilst these thugs were sat at home frequenting Neo-Nazi sites, porn outlets, shopping online, and ordering food deliveries from the safety of their homes – non-White people like Gee were travelling to work everyday to take their place on the frontline in a cash-strapped NHS that the Tories were in the midst of shutting-down and abolishing! We believe the cotton masks from China saved Gee’s life. These masks probably saved our lives as our family wore them as well.
By 2022, and despite resistance from the Tory government, it was finally decided that those who had worked for a certain length of continuous time on the NhS frontline were eligible for the “Covid Star” – a medal issued by the British State in acknowledgement of the bravery and duty shown by the recipients – who demonstrated exceptional valour whilst serving the British public in the face of great danger and uncertainty.
Of course, when medals are issued en masse like this, as also seen at the end of WWII) it often takes some time before the medals are a) made, and b) presented to the recipients. Gee’s work record and demeanour under pressure were assessed and found “suitable” for the awarding of the “Covid Star” during 2022. Since that date, we have been patiently waiting to receive the physical object – and hold it in our hands. Gee volunteered to work with NO protective-clothing or equipment on the NHS frontline saving human-lives in the UK – so I would say she has earned the right to be called “British”! Gee showed more English-grit than the “White” keyboard warriors sat behind their computer screens concocting all kinds of stupid and anti-intellectual nonsense! These very bad and poor examples of “Englishness” will never know the “grace under pressure” that people like Gee exhibited during a National Emergency. Indeed, Gee saved their ungrateful lives. Her National Service was even mentioned in the local Press!
