An Ovis Aries Revolution! – My Contribution to “Unherd” – I Doubt It Will Be Printed! (31.1.2025)

Author’s Note: This is a parody piece – but I have forwarded it to “Unherd” – which is probably just JK Rowling sat in-front of a laptop screaming at any trans people. Still, needs must – and I have decided to mimmick this centre-right echo-chamber which caters exclusively to White, middle-class rich people. Indeed, I suspect Unherd is a front for the far-right. Trotsky would be proud of the way these privileged few use the English language so that they appear to be saying one-thing – whilst obviously saying another. Either way, I find their angst-ridden bourgeois attitude funny to encounter – simply because they think they are more intelligent than the rest of us. These types of rags continuously write in a style which distorts, confuses, and misrepresents. Incidentally, the farmers never support the workers! Let’s see how they handle the right-wing shepherd! Submission – Unherd: An Ovis Aries Revolution!

I am an expert in the general welfare (and husbandry) of “Ovis Aries” – a Latin name more commonly used to refer to “Sheep and Rams”. This is highly relevant in the current toxic atmosphere generated by the Labour attack on the rural community – including the despised “Inheritance Tax”. If Labour is not depriving the Farmers of their hard-earned income – it is throwing money away on frivilous social engineering projects such as constructing fences around schools designed to create an “Apartheid” between the younger generation and the older community that provides everyhing for their existence.

Sheep are very sensitive animals. This includes goats and rams – not always the same thing. Under Labour, the manner in which sheep congregate together has subtly shifted. In the average flock today, the shepherds will tell you that their is a profound sense of fear seven-days a week – and not just on Market-Day – or when the “special” lorry arrives. The texture of the wool has diminished in quality – as has the production of milk and meat. As you know, sheep-milk is used to make a myriad of alternative dairy products – including niche cheese and yoghurt. Yes – such products cost a little more – but this reflects the greater extent of labour required to manufacture these products.

Of course, as any expert of sheep-care will inform you, we are all “Sheep-Whisperers”. We talk to our sheep – and our sheep talk back to us. This is a normal part of our day. Differing sheep flocks are political and possess their own ideas and opinions. From communicating with other sheep-carers – it is obvious that there is a general dissatisfaction with the external “herd” structure and the “herd dynamics” of the interior. Such an explosive combination of discontent can prove lethal if allowed to simmer unchallenged. What is to be done about this? Well, we have pooled our knowledge and it would seem that the sheep would prefer to “abolish” the herd structure and become opinionated individuals. In other words, and this is where I believe your expertise comes in, the sheep would like to “Unherd” their existence. Obviously, such notions as the “Unherd Club” would be counter-productive – as it is basically a mechanism for re-inventing the herd. The good news is that the sheep remain open to negotiations.
