When I visited Turkey around 1995, I encountered a “Chinese Restaurant” staffed by East Indians (of BJP) fame. My ethnic Chinese partner enquired as to why it was that they referred to themselves as “Chinese” – when they served typical Turkish kebabs, crusty (Western) bread, and pints of (Western) beer? These “Indian” people, mumbled something about being “Uyghur” – and that they came from the “other part of China” (my partner was not comvinced) – and they were slightly “shifty” in demeanour (they could not understand how a “British” family had accessed German-specific tourist destinations). We later found-out (from a friendly hotel staff member) that these people were indeed “Indian” – hired to keep-up the pretence of being the exotic “Uyghur” for German tourists (hence the crusty bread and bear) – as Germany and Turkey had been allies for centuries. The kebabs, by the way, were of typical Arabic and Persian cuisine. None of this mimicry and appropriation was real and constituted pure theatre!
Subsequently, I have met genuine Uyghur people from China and learned how these people are a non-Han cultural grouping – who are thriving under the Chinese (Han) Socialist system – and that “Socialism” is very much part and parcel of Uyghur Islamic belief. The US, however, has set itself the historical objective of destroying ALL Socialist regimes – using racism as a weapon in this ideological war. Turkey is a fascist State and its support for Uyghur anti-Chinese militancy is a US (CIA) policy. India, being no friend of China (if it wants to keep its US aid) must also be anti-China. Genuine Uyghur people have NOTHING directly to do with the modern State of Turkey – and are only “Turkic” in the broader sociological and historical sense, not the more narrow nationalist, ethnic, or racist sense. Modern Turkey, being anti-Socialist and racist, encourages Uyghur migration from Xinjiang into its own hinterland – where young Uyghur are “radicalised” in Turkish mosques. Such terrorists are then deployed into the US maintained anti-China network – and used wherever the West sees fit. I do believe, however, that both Russia and Iran have deliberately scapegoated China (via the Uyghur issue) to disguise their own betrayal of Syria.
In-short, Chinese Uyghurs are “Chinese” (although NOT “Han”) – but they are NOT Turkish or European in anyway. The PLA has many Regiments comprised of Uyghur men and women who are entirely loyal to the Communist Party of China (CPC). If there are any genuine Uyghur in the latest incarnation of ISIS (HTS) in Syria – then they are criminals, miscreants, or malcontents, and probably born outside of China – and under the control of Turkey. My view is that they are fake Uyghur in the employment of the US. Whatever the case, George Galloway is a racist Trotskyite who has been exposed to be a Muslim convert. Many Muslims support his anti-Chinese racism – because local Imams perpetuate exactly the same anti-China racism in their mosques.
Genuine Muslims should purge themselves of all anti-China racism and anti-Socialist bias. Furthermore, horrible, racist, and hate filled people like George Galloway should be rejected from mainstream discourse and consigned to the past – whilst being removed from all positions of influence. When I show the above (disgusting) anti-China video-clip broadcast by George Galloway yesterday to my colleagues within China – I suspect his junkets (and even visas) will come to an abrupt end. In the week or two leading up to the collapse of (Socialist) Syria – I was reading (on Telegram) numerous Lebanese, Syrian, and Palestinian Channels – the members of which were expressing concerned observations that Russian and Iranian military assets in Syria had suddenly “vanished” – being quietly withdrawn in the middle of the night.
Many thought this to be a re-deployment (similar to many that had happened numerous times in the past) – but others stated that entire bases had been abandoned and that local people were moving feely through them – looking for overlooked food and ammunition. Indeed, Russian troops, true to their Red Army past, often deliberately left discreet food and medical supplies as an unofficial policy for local people. This time there was none. The point that Galloway obscures with his racism is that both Russia and Iran had troops on the ground – whilst China never did! It is Russia and Iran which withdrew these life-saving troops – not China – and it is Russia and Iran which have betrayed Syria! It is nothing to do with China. I am sure if we looked close enough, we would find British people amongst the ISIS (HTS) forces! What is remarkable about Galloway’s racism (I believe it emanates from his Dutch-born Indonesian wife) is that he has been well-treated as an ideological friend when visiting China in the past. Once I circulate his latest outburst on the Chinese-language internet – this attitude of respect will be coming to an end.
